Our most popular location at 601 Frenchmen Street, New Orleans is often requested for private events, so act quickly to reserve a date! Its balcony, one of the most famous in New Orleans, stands above the sights and sounds of the Marigny neighborhood and makes for a uniquely New Orleans experience. The 2nd floor room is the official den for the Krewe of Chewbacchus and is complete with a giant “Sacred Drunken Wookiee” and lots of cool Star Wars décor.

This restaurant does not honor Open Table reservations and they have LIMITED indoor seating. You order at the counter and find a table but eating hot dogs outside on a humid 98 degree day isn’t the dining experience presented on the website. The restaurant is not super clean either. If you want a walk up quick serve restaurant to go or to eat outside on the sidewalk, this is for you. We won’t be back and we will not recommend to anyone.

Loved it! We visited twice during our NOLA trip and we are still craving some more Dat Dog!! So good!
