Dauphine’s is a modern day incarnation of the dramatic Grande Dame establishments of New Orleans, brought to you by the award winning Long Shot Hospitality - the team behind DC's beloved The Salt Line Restaurants. Dauphine’s utilizes Mid-Atlantic ingredients to prepare classic New Orleans fare while also creating original dishes inspired by the legendary city. All brought to you in a breathtaking spacious downtown restaurant setting with the most beautiful bar in downtown DC, plenty of patio dining, and a festive outdoor bar and garden area. Incredibly slow. The po boy was bland and unimaginative. The bead basket was amazing though.

The food did not impress. I can’t imagine anything I want to go back for on the small plates menu. The cocktails were delicious.

Loved the atmosphere. Our server, Addison was great. The jazz musicians at brunch were excellent. We ordered the bread basket which was great as was the shrimp with grits. Will be back.

I took my wife here for her birthday because she loves New Orleans, oysters, and benignies (spelling) and this place had it all!! The ambiance is nice. We were immediately seated at 6:42pm for our 7pm reservation which allowed us to catch the end of the Happy Hour (which ends at 7). Oysters did not disappoint. I had the catfish and grits which was delicious. We will definitely come back!!

Amazing dinner, cocktails were excellent (I had Great New Orleans Fire), fresh oysters were outstanding, and the Vietnamese Coffee cheesecake was exceptional. Service was attentive, and helpful. I was surprised to find a restaurant with this level of NOLA food in DC!

Food and drinks were amazing. Service was great but a little slow (2 hours in total and took 15 minutes before anyone came to our table for drinks initially)

Celebrating my mom’s birthday, we had a fabulous time! They had live jazz for brunch and the food was delicious. I was reluctant to try the steak and hash, but got it with our server’s recommendation and it was SO GOOD! …and the griiiiits! Chef’s kiss! Thanks for a great brunch!
