   Davenport is a great restaurant for food quality and variety. Their servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. We had 3 different meals and they were great and very affordable. The portions were large and we all took leftovers home. Davenports is one of our favorite restaurants. We frequent it on a regular basis. You will not be disappointed.

   We love Davenports! Food always consistent and staff members are attentive. We orders the fried scallop plate with baked potato and the gluten free turkey club with squash. There was a new wine they were offering a Portuguese Alentejo wine which was excellent! The scallops were sweet fresh and a good size, exceptional! The gluten free menu never disappoints and another main reason why we frequent here! Always a great place to go ! We love it here

   Monday special; drink, soup or salad, entree & dessert. I had Shepards pie….. huge! I actually got a whole Pie. Baked onion soup is fab. Biggest piece of cake ever!$23.99. I wish there was a Davenports in southern RI !

   Great restaurant for all your comfort foods and more! Very large serving sizes too so we even have lunch for tomorrow. Our server was amazing, very friendly and attentive. The chicken pot pie was excellent, and the nachos are also very good!

   Unfortunately, this visit was not good in any way. We arrived at 6:15; gave our order at 6:45 (the restaurant was quite busy); didn't get our food until 8:00 (which was ridiculous) (waitress admitted to making the mistake). Manager came over and apologized. As I was eating my chicken pot pie, there was a hair in the food. I literally spit all the food in my mouth onto the table (I know, disgusting) but the thought of someone's hair in my mouth was worse. The waitress saw it and agreed that it was definitely in the food; took it away; didn't charge us. After the service and hair in my meal, (and I know these things can happen), I just won't be visiting here again.

   The menu has a good variety of choices without being overwhelming and there is a variety of specials. The 4 people in our party chose lunch specials and were very pleased with their choices. Tracey, our favorite server, was excellent, as usual.
