                                                                So I’ll start off by saying that the food was top tier and our waiter was decent. The service department definitely needs improvement. We had a 3 PM reservation and arrived early, but were informed that our table for three was not ready. When I asked how long the wait would be, I was told, “I don’t know, but we will try to find you a table.” As we waited, the owner approached and asked if we had been helped. My husband began explaining the issue with our reservation, but the owner interrupted, pointed to the man at the door (who appeared to be the manager), and said, “He’ll take care of that.” Then, without letting my husband finish, the owner added, “I have a call coming in,” turned around, and walked away. This was our first time dining here, and unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. It also took quite a while for our waiter to greet us, although he was friendly when he finally arrived. While the food was absolutely phenomenal, the overall service experience was disappointing.

                                                                I tried Davis Street for the first time, on my birthday this year. The design and decor were fantastic. Food was amazing. Our server, Quinton was very friendly and took great care of us. 10’s across the board! I will definitely be back.

                                                                The food was excellent. My wife and I both had the pre-fixe menu. But the food was served very slowly and unevenly, which made the overall dining experience less than excellent. The ambiance was very good.

                                                                Went for birthday date night. We had the deep fried red snapper and Brussel sprouts with corn bread. The food was exceptional and we really enjoyed ourselves. The only thing I'll recommend is to have the option to have greens without the pork, either meat free or smoked turkey. I was looking forward to eating the greens, but it had pork meat in it. We celebrated on a Thursday night and it was minimal people. Not sure how it is on the weekend. Overall, very nice place, great prices and they didn't force gratuity on us. However, we left a tip to our awesome waitress. She was awesome! Definitely on our list of restaurants to visit again.

                                                                I’d like to make it 4.5 stars but its not an option. The service was very good, the appetizers were outstanding. The Nola oysters were spot on- just the way I remember from NOLA. The cornish hen was very dry and not very tasty. But they did take it off our bill. And the drink service was a little slow, but I think that was part of the overall theme of the restaurant- it was very well paced and not rushed at all.
