Great experience for our first High Tea at Deanne House! Loved the Christmas Ambiance and Treats! Would definitely recommend!

Service was great! We shared the beef Wellington, which was good, but a little underwhelming. Our starters were small but very tasty. Our dessert the opera cheesecake was dry and not my favourite of the night. We were going to do the tasting menu but a few items were not to my taste, and my husband decided we would just do our own with a few apps and a nice meat. We had a nice time, and our server was lovely. It’s definitely pricey, I’m sure the view was lovely if it wasn’t November and pitch black at 5pm haha. It was a very cool old house, turned restaurant, with some interesting history.

Second time dining here - booked and drove 4 hours to celebrate our special occasion. It was another wonderful culinary experience from the excellent wine paring to the 5 course chefs tasting menu-- and our service was again both attentive, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. The dining veranda beside the river in a restored old house sure was cozy. We do very very few reviews but we both felt this is a fine dining choice to be shared.

Our server was so great..such a breath of fresh air to have a server that can have a human conversation. She had blonde hair and really great eyebrows (can’t remember her name). Her service was perfect! Not a bad thing to say. We had a great time telling stories….It was a quiet Friday night but she kept things entertaining like we were at a friends dinner or something. It was such a relaxed atmosphere and we valued her talking authentically with us when she easily could have sat around looking at her phone. Scallop crudo was amazing!!!! I need more raw dishes like this from Deane House. Oysters were the best I have had in so long and I have oysters all. Over the world. House made hot sauce matters!

Ive been wanting to tru the dean house for a whole now and we finally decided to go! The places was very nice and so was the area around. Really nice for a good walk and then a good meal with some great vibes. We had brunch! Definitely recommend trying it out
