Deanie’s Seafood - The third location of the family-owned and -operated Deanie’s Seafood, Deanie’s Seafood offers the same flavors as the legendary restaurant known for serving “New Orleans’ best seafood” and features a raw and charbroiled oyster station.

Located at the corner of Jackson Avenue, Deanie’s Seafood seats approximately 175 guests and features a spacious wrap-around balcony for outdoor dining with a beautiful view of Uptown and the New Orleans skyline.

Deanie’s Seafood offers Deanie’s favorites including fried seafood, po-boys, seasonal boiled seafood like boiled crawfish, shrimp and Louisiana blue crab, Crawfish Étouffée, New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp and seafood salads served with Deanie’s housemade dressings.

Perfect evening. Friendly service, plump-sweet crawfish (believe BEST I’ve ever had), generous platter of catfish put a smile on Marty’s face! Great weather and pleasant walk from home 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This restaurant should be on open table. It’s counter service, so I made a reservation that I couldn’t use. I sure the food is fine, but I left b/c it was too crowded.

Oysters so big you had to cut in half to eat. Hot red potatoes instead of traditional bread at the start of meal. Freshly made memu items made on pLin sight.

I’ve been dining at Deanie’s for a very long time but only at the Bucktown location. Decided to go here after a parade and the food was lacking. The catfish platter was half the size I’ve always gotten at the other location and the 3 soft shell crabs were what I would call miniature. The shrimp Po Boy did look large. The service was excellent, the dining room was very tight. Will just go back to Bucktown from now on…

Good food; good people. Enjoyed the food in this eatery with a heavy emphasis on fried seafood. The staff were particularly welcoming and efficient.

We ordered the bbq shrimp, seafood platter. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service fantastic. I forgot to request extra crispy. If they don't fry extra crispy the fish taste like plain batter. But when fried longer you taste the seasoning. It's 100 times better. Love this location the best.

Fantastic experience at the Magazine Street location. The food was amazing, especially the butterfly shrimp with crab dressing. But what put it over the top was the incredible service. Everyone was so nice and warm and welcoming.

Dinner was great! Portions are large so don't over-order. The shrimp was so fresh you know it swam in the ocean the night before! Prices are great for what you get!

Absolutely delicious. The best bbq shrimp I’ve ever had. Also the onion rings were amazing as well as our server. Started talking with another guest and they ended staying open 45 minutes past closing for us with no complaints. Highly recommend
