From the restored original brick, reclaimed wood floors to the imported Italian wood burning oven; one step inside Deano's Italian Grill in downtown Dublin, GA and you know you are in for a treat. Made with the best ingredients around; cooked with good old fashioned love. Great food from great ingredients The journey begins with Robert and Jennifer Shaffer arriving in Dublin, Ga in November of 2008 from Boynton Beach, Florida where Robert was the executive Chef of a high end catering company and Jennifer was the owner of a wedding planning service. They immediately began catering for local events while testing the restaurant waters. In October of 2009 the opportunity to buy the Deano's business came to light and by April 2010 they had taken over the business. Since then changes have been made to the menu and service style of Deano's making it the perfect place to bring family and friends for dinner or a celebration.

So glad to have Deano's back open! The Chicken Marsala and Bruschetta burger are amazing! Service is excellent. Prices good, and staff friendly and helpful.

The food and wine are very good and reasonably priced. The front of house managing of reservations with walk-ins was absolutely abhorrent. When I make a reservation, ESPECIALLY with OpenTable, other reservation systems, or a call-in phone reservation, I expect that time to be honored. I had a 6:45 reservation and waited 30 minutes to be seated. There were other parties that came in closer to 7:15 and were told that their wait would be close to an hour. I view this as totally unacceptable. Either take reservations AND honor the time or don't offer any reservations - walk-ins only. But to take reservations and be treated, honestly, no different than a walk-in is the worst possible execution. Again, the food and wine is good to above average. The pricing, especially on wine is excellent. This restaurant offers good value. However, the experience is marred significantly by incompetent handling of reservations. THIS REFLECTS VERY BADLY ON OPENTABLE, by the way.

We met the owner...just a really nice person—engaging! Service was very attentive and nicely presented. Fun place, and a friendly atmosphere. The food was pretty darn good (we’re from NYC area—so, our standards pretty high). Awesome place...good vibe.

Everything was great from the moment we arrived until we left. Fresh and tasty pasta dishes made our night. And the bread. We cant wait to visit on our next trip through.

We had a great experience at Deano's from the beginning to end. Our table was ready when we got there, I think our server's name was Alexis *not sure", she was GREAT and our food was delicious! I got the crab cakes for the first time and it's my new favorite. Yum!

Experience was wonderful as always. Took my wife for a Date night and we decided to get all that we wanted. A 9” margarita pizza for app, Ravioli, chicken Marsala, and Sangria for entree and cream brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious! And only $55. The service was spectacular. Everyone pitching in to make the customer satisfied at all times.
