Michelin-starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias merges the Spanish cuisine of his family with his love of Mexico for his debut London restaurant, Decimo.

Expect lots of flavour - Gambas Rojas, mezcal cocktails, and a dramatically different tortilla. Situated on the 10th floor of The Standard, London, Decimo is uniquely positioned with floor-to-ceiling windows and dramatic views across the London skyline and is accessible by our exterior red-pill lift.

The food was nice when it arrived. But it took 3 attempts and over an hour and a half to have hot food - despite ordering from the lunchtime set menu. The alcohol free cocktails were good but then they confused the dessert order and forgot the coffee. Well designed menu but the execution is just not there.

Decimo is not a typical Michelin Star restaurant - there are no foams, gels or sophisticated plating arrangements - but the food and wine is really good, the service professional and attentive, and the atmosphere warm and lively. We started by sharing a black bean and fried plantain taco and a tuna tostada, which were tricky to share, but delicious. Then we an Iberico pork chop and a beef fillet, sharing patatas bravas, marinated tomatoes and hispi cabbage - all really good. Best patatas bravas ever! For drinks we started with the house champagne, then Chablis with the pork, and merlot with the beef - all really good quality. A lovely night out.

A really wonderful place! Cool vibe and the interior design was beautiful! The food was great - our favorites were the tacos. We tried the shrimp, black bean and carnitas. Exceeded all expectations. Would recommend!

Delicious food cooked on an open fire, great service and beautiful space. I think it's a tad high in price for some of the dishes. The service was brilliant. The only glitch was getting a coffee at the end and we had to wait a really long time for it. Then when it arrived it wasn't even hot. So that was a bad note to end the meal on. But the food is wonderful. The black cod in banana leaf, ceviche and tre leche for dessert were stand-outs for us.

Appalling service. Waited 20 minutes to even be served water to eventually be served by an ambivalent waiter. Shame. I’ve been here before and it’s been excellent so quite disappointed.

Lovely view. Cocktails ok. Service ok. Menu limited & quite boring. Food was ok but little sausages were served cold, the Spanish tortilla was only warm. Monkfish delicious but served on a side plate. Zero atmosphere.

Decimo is a wonderful experience. Although expensive it’s worth it for the ambience, food and views. Great for special occasions, staff friendly and (mostly) attentive, we went recently in December so was very busy, also went in April which was wonderful.
