I had king crab. The server never told me that the legs were spiny. The price was 75.00 which would have been ok if I could have eaten them without difficulty. They were so rough that it was near impossible to hold! My husband asked for a sharp knife and used a cloth napkin and was able to split them a little for me! But the fingers were very sore from trying to hold them to get the meat out! The server when I told her walked away I have no idea where these legs came from but they were not Alaskan

Let me preface this with, we are not on vacation, nor are we snow birds. We live here, and have enjoyed this restaurant many times. We just enjoyed a great dinner here for our anniversary last month. However, this was not the case this time. My wife and I both ordered the same meal and they came out looking completely different. I brought it to the attention of our server and she apologized and said she would get the manager. We didn't want to eat our food until the manager saw it. Five minutes later she showed up and said all of the fish weighs the same, it just looks different. There's no way the 2 meals were even close. No offer to make it right or offer any compensation. She was totally useless as a manager, no customer care skills at all. Now we were left to eat what we were given, which by this time was cold. Some other guests around us saw and observed the situation and told us we were right. If this had been my first time here, I would never return. Currently that decision is on hold. We have always recommended Deep Lagoon to family and friends, but now with the inconsistency and bad management, I can no longer do that. We may return in the future, but not soon.

Tables of 2 to 4 guests are beat suited To sit outside and enjoy the Florida evening. 5 or more will put you closer to inside and a fairly noisy environment. Our food was delicious…nicely dressed caesar salad, the mussels….oh the mussels!!! Sooo good! Had that as my main. My husband was very happy with his triple tail.

Been on Marco Island since 1988- this was one of the Top 5 meals ever! Service was amazing... waiter described the meals- we took his recommendation for appetizer, salad, and entree! A perfect dinner!
