                                Our third visit, and we live about a half hour away. Even though there are plenty of Italian restaurants near us, Del Porto is something special. The food is so good, the portions are generous and there are always lots of interesting specials, making it very difficult to choose! We had zucchini chips, paper-thin and crispy, a wedge salad with a Caesar style dressing, eggplant lasagne and short rib ragu, and were quite happy with all of it. Our server, Justin, was great - so attentive without being obtrusive. The only disappointment was, we saw a favorite bottle of wine on the list but they were out of it. No matter; made another selection and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

                                The service was excellent and the food was very good! My Husband ordered the pasta special with lobster and it was delicious. The pasta was made fresh and the sauce was perfect.

                                Del Porto is truly a hidden gem. I know the restaurant well and visited Manolo's many times in that space. The food is excellent and the service was very professional. The portions are large and the prices are on the higher side, but as you know, you get what you pay for! The drinks are excellent as well. I was really excited when I heard that the owners of Del Porto are from the same family that owns La Foccacia and Fiorino in Summit NJ. Both are great restaurants and Del Porto is similar to both of them - perhaps a little more business casual with a great bar. Highly recommend trying it out and checking out Elizabeth!!

                                If you have not been to Del Porto then you need to make a reservation ASAP!! The food was so delicious and the staff and service was 5 STAR!!! It’s a must go!

                                We had a great experience the whole night, from cocktails at the bar right through dessert! The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely return!

                                We always have a great meal at Del Porto. The eggplant lasagna is outstanding with layers of fresh pasta and fried eggplant. The chicken parm and steak also deserve a mention. This is a great option when you need to eat near the airport.

                                We had a great meal. Stephania was quite helpful with our selections. We were not rushed. She made many suggestions and the staff was quick to assist with water drinks , whatever we needed. Food was phenominal and desserts we amazing as well.

                                We were flying in from SF and needed a late dinner spot. We found Del Porto on Open Table. Close to EWR but surprised by the rating given the location. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience, menu, food and especially the staff. Family owned and run. We were served by the son of the owner. The level of care really shows. Excellent ‘family style’ food with very generous portions (leave your idea of California portions behind). You will leave happy and satisfied (but not hungry).
