Our server was very helpful in recommending some great options. My go tis always the artichokes. Loved the holiday specials too. The property is so well maintained.

Love this place and have been here a number of times. The location next to the pool through the garden is so inviting and the inviting cozy entranceway is the perfect portal to the low-light, dramatic restaurant with its elegant booths, seductive design and enticing ambiance . The menu is appealing and creative but in our most recent visit we found the presentation of the tinned fish a little challenging since we had to remove the box and the lid and everything was crammed on a tiny platter. We could have used a little more guidance on size and portions for the tapas as we needed to add on halfway through the meal. Also, the sauce-rich dishes need more bread. We ordered the bread pudding for desert and it was out of this world.

We had drinks and Tapas. Food was very filling and delicious. Very nice variety of choices and the taste combinations were great. Fascinating decor; our visit was at Christmas time so don't know how much was seasonal or just regular. I would definitely recommend Del Rey.

Despite me being on the date from hell, the restaurant and its staff were as lovely as always. The food was spectacular and the chef never disappoints. Try the basque cheesecake before you depart.

Reserved for paella night. We have been to regular dinner here a number of nights before and have always had an exceptional meal. Paella night did not disappoint. It is done with class and a specialness that far exceeded our already high expectations. This is only one night (a Thursday) a month and is fixed price with five fixed courses. All great but paella was star of the night.

Del Rey is always a combination of old Hollywood glamour meets chic Spanish Mediterranean style, in what was once Norwegian figure skater, Sonja Henie’s Palm Springs house … and is now the fabulous Villa Royale Inn. One of our favorite things about going to dinner at Del Rey … is when you arrive at Villa Royale, you always feel as if you are going to a a friend’s dinner party rather than a restaurant. On one Thursday every month, Del Rey has a chef inspired Paella Night in the Desert. There is only one seating and they usually go fast. We were there last night for the delicious pre fixe menu with the Paella of course being the star. Not only was the food wonderful in every way … the happiness and friendly attitude of the guests there makes it even more fun. We saw local friends and met visitors who will become friends. You leave with a full stomach and a warmed heart because of the experience. Del Ray is not to be missed.

Del Rey does not miss. They are exceptional all of the way through the dining experience. Service is attentive, food delicious and it’s a beautiful environment. And the noise is low - it’s easy to have a conversation with your dining companions. One of my favorites.

We were outside. Love the ambience. Food is delicious. Especially love the meatballs! Bread pudding is great. Great service.

Greeted by friendly manager and staff, led through beautiful outdoor dining are to our inside cozy table. Ambiance is very fitting for the Villa Royale history, and the food was superb. Generous portions, sweet and savory dishes curated with intention. Can’t wait to go back. Server made excellent recommendations and was very attentive.
