Housed inside stucco walls, Villa Royale’s intimate bar and eatery, Del Rey, offers up an eight seat oak and marble bar, tufted vinyl booths and an outdoor covered terrace equipped with a fire-pit for long nights under the desert moonlight. Serving tapas-style fare inspired by Spanish and Mediterranean flavors and a Mediterranean-leaning wine program from Spanish varietals and local wines.

Join us on one Thursday night per month as we dine together celebrating good flavors in the company of good people. Each gathering will highlight a five course menu featuring a pinxto, ensalada, tapa, and one of the best-known dishes in Spanish cuisine...paella! A dessert bite will follow. Cozy, but warm ambiance inside a beautiful botique neighborhood hotel. Excellent, friendly service, unique and delicious spanish/Mediterranean tapas, but somewhat pricy. Be prepared to pay $100pp for 2 people, with 4 total tapas, 2 total drinks, and one dessert to share, incl. tip.

what a fantastic evening we had! It was a little dark and we had to use our cell phone flashlights to read the menu, but everything else was absolutely top-notch and the dim light really wasn't a problem. We sat at the bar and Scott looked after our every need. The tapas and drinks were delicious and my food allergy was a non-event. Such a great place. I look forward to going there again sometime.

A very creative and delicious menu. It is hard to find restaurants in PS that truly have the experienced chefs to appeal to the palette of larger city folks. Most restaurants charge a lot and can’t back it up with good food. Del Rey backs it up nicely.

Amazing vibe and decor. Wonderful old Palm Springs property. Food is tapas style and very good. Great for a date night! Would definitely go again.

We came on a crowded night, while our server did his best under difficult circumstances management made sure we were taken care of and left happy. One of the things we love about the restaurant and hotel is management’s attention to detail and commitment to good service.

Super cute place, very fun! Small plate, very sharable! A little pricey, but what isn't in Palm Springs? I'd go back.

Everything here was amazing from the food, drinks and ambiance to our amazing bartender Scott. He really elevated our experience, we will definitely be back to visit him.

Our server Jaycee is THE BEST! Love her. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, cocktails and ambiance. This is becoming one of our favorite restaurants.
