Reserved for paella night. We have been to regular dinner here a number of nights before and have always had an exceptional meal. Paella night did not disappoint. It is done with class and a specialness that far exceeded our already high expectations. This is only one night (a Thursday) a month and is fixed price with five fixed courses. All great but paella was star of the night.

Del Rey is always a combination of old Hollywood glamour meets chic Spanish Mediterranean style, in what was once Norwegian figure skater, Sonja Henie’s Palm Springs house … and is now the fabulous Villa Royale Inn. One of our favorite things about going to dinner at Del Rey … is when you arrive at Villa Royale, you always feel as if you are going to a a friend’s dinner party rather than a restaurant. On one Thursday every month, Del Rey has a chef inspired Paella Night in the Desert. There is only one seating and they usually go fast. We were there last night for the delicious pre fixe menu with the Paella of course being the star. Not only was the food wonderful in every way … the happiness and friendly attitude of the guests there makes it even more fun. We saw local friends and met visitors who will become friends. You leave with a full stomach and a warmed heart because of the experience. Del Ray is not to be missed.

Del Rey does not miss. They are exceptional all of the way through the dining experience. Service is attentive, food delicious and it’s a beautiful environment. And the noise is low - it’s easy to have a conversation with your dining companions. One of my favorites.

We were outside. Love the ambience. Food is delicious. Especially love the meatballs! Bread pudding is great. Great service.

Greeted by friendly manager and staff, led through beautiful outdoor dining are to our inside cozy table. Ambiance is very fitting for the Villa Royale history, and the food was superb. Generous portions, sweet and savory dishes curated with intention. Can’t wait to go back. Server made excellent recommendations and was very attentive.

This super cute little find was perfect for launching into a small family getaway. The items are a bit pricey for what you get, but the atmosphere makes up for it. The drinks are fantastic!

Such a gorgeous cozy ambiance, the service and food was truly amazing, savoury, creative. Great, warm ambiance, candlelight on each table and some fire places. Super cute and chic 1960 vibe/ decor. We enjoyed a lovely evening and highly recommend Del Ray in Palm Spring.

it’s a wonderful place with great atmosphere. I’ve gone there many times but this time it took a very long time to get each tapas and it got to be odd. Our surfer was very good so I’m assuming the problem was in the kitchen. I love the top of the menu, but it would be good to have a few new things every now and then

We loved the entire experience but the best part was JC, our server. We were met with a huge smile, she helped us make the best food and beverage choices and is the #1 reason we’ll return.
