   After years of getting takeout pizzas from Delfina, I tried their dining room and excellent dinner menu on my own several weeks ago. It was such a great experience (ambience, food, wine, and top notch service by Nyah) that I brought my wife back for a date. Luckily Nyah was our server again! She has great instincts for just the right amount of engagement with each customer, and her overall craft is superb. My understanding is she learned that craft at Delfina, so kudos to the management and staff for the training and standards they set in service. While we waited for our table, the bartender took care get find the right glass of wine suited to my taste. The menu was quite different from my previous visit, and just as delicious. We had a pretty late reservation, so a few items had run out, but that’s not unusual. Delfina shines on all the things we enjoy when dining out. We have a new fave in our rotation now.

   We had an excellent meal. The butternut ravioli was delicious. The bread was so fresh.

   Had an excellent dinner at Delphina, Mission district , with my spouse and a guest visiting from Zuerich. We were seated promptly and received great service throughout in very comfortable surroundings. The restaurant noise level was moderate and was conducive to effortless conversation. Food presentation and taste were outstanding. Value was good.

   Outstanding restaurant. Very friendly service. The spaghetti pomodoro is an absolute must as is the grilled sea bass. Wonderful restaurant.

   Very noisy - tables are close together so very hard to have a conversation without straining and raising your voice. No privacy - quite cafe like noise experience. Otherwise just outstanding - The service was above and beyond - great wine and cocktail advice.

   Neighborhood gem! Diverse menu which includes tasty gems, homemade pasta, thoughtful meat and fish entrees. The anchovies on toast is a delicious surprise! The fish of the day is a standout. Service is top notch and all staff are pleasant and friendly.

    Another beautiful evening at Delfina. When you arrive the team is so friendly you feel like you’re at home. The prosciutto appetizer is never to be missed, and I love that I can ask the bartender to make me a custom cocktail with a preferred spirit and that I always get something wonderful. Our meal was delicious, as always, and the service exceptional. Three cheers to Caleb for treating us like royalty and making sure we got out in time to make it to City Arts & Lectures. Thank you Delfina— can’t wait until next time.
