Established in 1837, Delmonico's remains the oldest restaurant in New York City and returns for the fall of 2023. Living in its original building at the intersection of Beaver & William Street in the financial district, Delmonico's holds to be the first dining establishment in America to be called by its French name "Restaurant”. What is very disappointing after dining at Delmonico's is not getting the points on openTable. This was never an issue before it closed during the legal issue they went through but now it seems to be the case.

Bar service fantastic. Probably would have been better to stay at bar or back room. For entire experience Restaurant service terrible. First tried to put us at table way in back near service door. Bread basket horrible Duck undercooked, amd looked like a massive goose breast 10oz steak just ok baked Alaska unimpressive. Table Staff missed serving a beverage had to remind them. For the money not worth it. Food better in other places in Manhattan Keens Del Frescos strip house

This is a must have when visiting New York City! The food and atmosphere was phenomenal! We had a great time and we can't wait to go back!

I absolutely loved Delmonico’s I had seen it online and just wanted to experience it. It didn’t disappoint, the food, the drinks the atmosphere was just second to none.

We went there to try what’s on the power lunch menu but was disappointed to find out it was no longer available. However, we ordered the oysters and the prawns appetizers from the regular menu and they were delicious. The porterhouse for two was even better. In my opinion, the steak was better than Peter Luger’s and Old Homestead and the service was also great. By far “The best lunch ever!”…at least for this year. I will definitely go back.

Overall great food! I'm surprised the service wasn't to the level expected. For some reason my waiter was not the most attentive.

I hate to do it but have to. This is the second time I have been and the food been almost inedible. I ordered the Delmonico eye medium well. The outside was burned and turned into shoe leather while the inside was bleeding red. I’m not even sure how they did that. The brussel sprouts had so much mustard and mustard seed covering them they were awful. The mushrooms were amazing and the baked Alaska was amazing. Service and ambience wonderful.
