Voted Best New Restaurants "Class of 13" by New Orleans Magazine. Desi Vega is the restaurateur of Desi Vega's Steakhouse and Mr. John's Steakhouse. Both restaurants are consistently outstanding and locals' favorite place to "see and be seen." Desi grew up in the restaurant business and was groomed by Ella Brennan at Commander's Palace, Ruth Fertel of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Emeril Lagasse. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence makes for a truly memorable dining experience. Our USDA Prime steaks are carefully selected, hand-cut and aged for tenderness, then seared to perfection and served on a sizzling plate. We hope you'll visit to see for yourself!

Devo dire che questa è il miglior ristorante tipo steakhouse su 5 che ho provato a New Orleans, soprattutto per la qualità e il servizio. Il menu è esteso sia per cibo che vino, birra e cocktail. Lo raccomando vivamente.

Wind took 20 min to come. Forgot my potatoes n I had to remind them. They brought it out when my steak was 1.2 way eaten. Found out they brought me a more expensive wine than I ordered, when I hit the bill.

We are locals and return patrons of this totally fantastic neighborhood steakhouse restaurant, and we dined here for lunch on a very busy Valentines Day. Service by longtime favorite waiter, Kevin, (and team assistant Gina), was attentive, friendly and professional. Our cocktails were superbly crafted, and appetizers of house salad and shrimp/roasted pepper soup were followed by a perfectly-cooked medium-rare Porterhouse-For-Two steak, with baked Blue Cheese Crust as an extra, with a side of Brussels Sprouts, complemented with glasses of Joel Gott Cab. Another great dining experience at one of our favorite Warehouse District restaurants, thank you!

In town from Atlanta for the Super Bowl and this was our first stop for my husband’s birthday. The manager was phenomenal with accommodating our extra guests and went above and beyond to seat us. Lori and Darryl were very attentive throughout our dining experience. The food and drinks were well prepared and priced appropriately. We will be back!
