Dinah’s Poolside Restaurant offers indoor and heated outdoor dining in a relaxing environment overlooking the pool. Private dining is also available in our Fireside Room or private Lanai patio.

This casual restaurant is renowned by locals for a hearty breakfast and lunch-time favorites. In the evening, Chef Gerardo Naranjo elevates the experience with steak and seafood classics.

Fresh, seasonal and local. We offer the highest quality cage free eggs, sustainable produce and free range meats sourced locally whenever possible.

For over 55 years we have been serving the Palo Alto area with great service, consistent food, and hand squeezed orange juice!

We were probably the loudest group there. 8 of us. Dinah’s is very warm and welcoming with delicious food.

We are 5 ladies who started working g together nearly 50 years ago. We’ve been having our monthly breakfast at Dinah’s for several years. We love the food-variety-and presentation. Hugo and his staff are especially welcoming, fun, attentive and patient when we can’t decide what to order. They make our get together even more special

Love this place for outside lunch, especially on a sunny day! The Ruben sandwich and fries were delicious and service was great, as usual!

A combination of Mid-century modern + Tiki Culture, Dinah’s Poolside is a unique dining experience that is sure to take you back the post-war era. The poolside setting is pleasant for lunch, provided it isn’t too busy, and the menu has some diverse options. I had the Chilaquiles at the recommendation of our server (thanks Hugo), the house-made pepper sauce, pulled pork, eggs, and queso was an excellent combination. Portion size was appropriate for lunch and the spicy-level was just right. Refills and service was quick! One point for consideration: parking can be a less than pleasant experience. The neighboring restaurant is very protective of their lot and since Dinah’s is also a functional hotel you’ll likely need to park in the garage (6’6” max height so SUV owners beware). That said, the layout is thoughtful, signage is good, and the restaurant is only a short walk no matter where you end up. If you love the MCM + South Pacific aesthetic or you’re looking to treat someone who lived through that time period this is a great spot.

Our experience was wonderful! We were celebrating a birthday. Hugo always takes excellent care of us. Attentive, friendly, we are never rushed. He surprised our friend with a special dessert. We look forward to coming to Dinah’s!!

Positive experience for our group of 6. Staff was accommodating. Food was very fresh & served in a timely manner. Beverages were refilled numerous times in the very hot weather.
