Award-winning chef Dipna Anand is proud to launch the newest edition to her restaurant collection in Unity Place - Dipna Anand Kitchen & Bar.

Dipna will be offering her authentic Punjabi and South Indian cuisine alongside a selection of traditional favourites at her new kitchen in the heart of Milton Keynes, amidst locally sourced seasonal ingredients for a flavour-rich, planet-friendly experience every time.

Dipna Anand grew up in London amongst a family of chefs. Feeding the nation ‘real authentic’ Indian food at their famous Brilliant Restaurant in Southall (voted as part of Ramsay’s Best for Channel 4), of which Dipna is now co-owner.

Had a lovely meal with tasty food and great service. The menu is great as there is a wide variety of choices and the authenticity of the flavours is brilliant.

Lovely food & nice staff. Atmosphere ok and although mentioned birthday celebration on app. No extras. Overall positive experience but could have been even better.

Good quality food at very reasonable prices. As an Indian , we are used to more spicy food, however, this was pretty good for me. The biggest downside was that the food was like warm at the best. A Dhal and especially Saag should be served piping hot. Typically we don’t want to make a fuss, as it was both my wife a’ and my daughter in laws birthday.

The food was OK. Nice but in no way special. Ordinary. I didn’t like the location or the walk to the toilets which requires going outside. I didn’t like that the staff flashed the lights off when wanting us to leave. Nothing like as good as Grace Dent’s review led me to believe. Just ordinary.

I had to try this Indian restaurant after watching the owners on James Martins Saturday morning to show We arrived at 7 pm a were greeted by a lady . she took us to our table which was clean a set up The place felt very spacious an comfortable We both ordered there specially thali one veg an mine was a meat one The dishes came out on a metal tray with all five on there own bowls The food was lovely an reasonably priced We will certainly recommend this place an come back

The staff were attentive and the food was absolutely exquisite. Best new find in MK. Very modern environment but still warm and welcoming. Very reasonably prized too! Go and try it - it’s so worth it!

The food im this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The quality was great we had fish pakora that's the best I've ever had. My husband loved the food too. Its beautifully decorated and modern. It was Saturday night and quite quiet which is a shame as its a really nice venue and excellent. The only thing is the ambient music which is different really fit the modern look and feel. A minor thing but think the music could be more in keeping with a modern restaurant. Excellent venue and food

We dined at Dipna last night and were impressed by the attentive service, convenient location, and free parking after 6pm. The ambiance was pleasant, though a downside was having to step outside the restaurant to access the toilets. While some dishes were nice, others fell short. The paneer “starter” was a standout—nice and spicy, just how I like it—whereas the onion bhajia tasted too doughy, and the green chutney, though tasty, came in a very small portion. The veg thali was well-presented, but the mattar paneer was mostly peas and sauce with only two tiny pieces of paneer, and the saag aloo was just average. The dal, however, was fantastic: creamy and flavourful. Unfortunately, the channa bhatura, my go to dish, was disappointing, the taste and texture really didn’t meet expectations and especially at £11.95—the priciest I’ve seen. Hats off to the waitress who kindly removed it from the bill after we expressed our dissatisfaction. Overall, this is an honest review to highlight the highs and lows; it’s still worth a visit.

Shame the main door was closed after alarm tests and had to wait to get somebody to open the side door. Greeted with a ‘nice to see you both again’ from the young waitress and service and food were then excellent, both quality and value, after our 2 guests arrived. Great place to eat, highly recommended!
