                    This has been our favorite restaurant in Cabo San Jose for many years. Imaginative menu, great service and a very impressive wine list. The staff was knowledgeable and engaging. They were as attentive and engaging to our young granddaughters as they were to any other patron. Don Sanchez always delivers a very rewarding experience.

                    Excellent food for both vegans and non-vegans! Service was amazing! A great fine dining experience! Love their creative sauces and dishes.

                    Wait service was on autopilot. Twice when I asked for attention I was told to wait. Possibly insufficient wait staff. Music was gringo, not Mexican. My vegetarian baked mushroom dish was too salty. On the other hand, my friends’ raw fish of the day appetizer and brisket were both very good.

                    We had an absolutely amazing experience at Don Sanchez. The ambience was fantastic, the service amazing, and the food was delicious with amazing flavors. This was our second time after coming the year before. We brought our adult children and they were blown away. We have to celiac GF kids and they had wonderful options for them that were fantastic. The whole evening was magical and capped off with great live music.

                    This was our second visit and it lived up to all our happy memories and expectations from our first trip. Our waiter René knows the menu, made excellent recommendations and wine pairings. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and lovely. This place is a gem.

                    This was a wonderful dining experience! It hit all the marks.. service, ambiance, and atmosphere. Jose was our server and he was knowledgeable and attentive with a very kind way about him. We could tell he was very proud to serve the food at Don Sanchez. We started with two tacos, the surf and turf and fish based quesabirria and then had the blackened shrimp and brisket. Each item was a work of art and a very appropriate if not large portion. Everything we ordered was at Jose’s recommendation and did NOT disappoint. The decor and lighting was beautiful and well coordinated without feeling inauthentic or pretentious. The music was live and the perfect volume even from our table close by. We strongly recommend adding this to your must-dine list in San Jose del Cabo.
