Food is average Mexican. Nothing interesting or overly flavoursome. Very loud too. We were on the other side of the bar and couldn’t talk over the cocktail shakers. Service was great if not a little too quick as all the food came out at once.

The service was attentive and friendly, food presentation was great and fresh and the sizes were generous. The letdown was the lack of flavour with the tacos which was disappointing. The chilli margarita was also not up to scratch which should be a signature drink at a Mexican restaurant. I would not go back or recommend to friends , which is a shame as it could be a great addition to current offerings on Hastings Street.

Refurbished venue has a new energy. Can be too loud but there is a vibe. Food and drinks were sub par. Margarita tasted made with premix lime - there was an artificial taste. Savignon Blanc is low end by the glass so had a fever free soft drink and a Pino gris instead. Corn cob - over dressed with fatty sauce while corn barely warm and no crunch. Chicken taco - tortilla bread was again weird artificial flavour. No fresh herbs and a "fingernail" size of lettuce in whole dish. I left two of the three. Beef taco folded in a hot press - oily and again no taste. Didn't bother for dessert and likely not bother to book venue again. Shame as venue has the potential due to location and fit out.

Just what Noosa needed. A Casual Dinner Delight. Dona was a total surprise! The food was seriously good – every bite was a flavor explosion. And let me tell you, the portions were huge! We definitely got our money's worth. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The vibe of the place was chill and cozy, perfect for a casual dinner out. If you're looking for a great place to eat that won't break the bank, Dona is a solid choice.

The food and service was excellent, I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s fun , it’s relaxed the food is fresh and not to heavy

Service was good, drinks were okay. Drinks weren’t terrible but definitely weren’t the best margaritas I’ve ever had. Granted, we did go at happy hour between 4-5pm so perhaps that’s why. Overall, the staff were all really nice and friendly & the vibe/atmosphere was good, they had music which uplifted the atmosphere, and the tacos were delicious & well priced for a happy hour.
