DOPO, meaning 'after' in Italian, is an intimate dining experience in the lower level of Elizabeth Square in Marda Loop, Calgary. Inspired by D.O.P, its predecessor restaurant, DOPO has been reimagined by Executive Chef, David Leeder and Owner, Tony Migliarese. With strong opinions from Mamma Rose, of course.

Very good. Bread, ricotta, green tomatoes, Gnocchi, Steak. All excellent. Excellent service. Chairs a wee bit uncomfortable and know it’s a busy place but felt a bit rushed out of the early sitting. All in all so happy it is in the neighbourhood.

I continue to be absolutely obsessed not only with the food, but the service. We had to wait a few minutes past our reservation time just because it was busy night, we also arrived early so no big deal. But while waiting we got some “bubbles for our troubles” & some free Prosecco. 10/10. Food outstanding. Service outstanding. Espresso martini gave me life. No notes.

Good. Not great. Considering they tell you the menu is a “sharing” menu. The portions are quite small. Especially for the price. For a place that you have to book a month out, not really worth the hype. DOP was better.

I have been waiting to eat at the new Dopo for weeks, and it didn’t disappoint. It was everything and more. Highly recommend and will be going back.

Absolutely loved our meal and time at DOPO. What a stunning space, fantastic service, and delicious food & drinks. We brought our adult kids (from out of town) & they absolutely enjoyed it, too. Looking forward to our next visit!

Had an amazing experience at Dopo! The food was delicious, especially the pasta — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend for a great Italian meal!

Very cool space and great vibes. Servers were very attentive, friendly, and drinks were on point. Food did not meet my expectations based on prior experiences at the old location. Main fish and meat dishes were over cooked and small portioned.
