We went in for a Valentines dinner, and they were struggling a bit. The weather had moved all of their outdoor reservations inside, which clogged things up a bit. This also had the affect of having a lot of orders all hitting the kitchen at once, which bogged the kitchen down and made food service slow. My wife has an odd allergy which we discussed with the waiter, and we decided that a hamburger with plain mayonnaise was about the only thing she could eat. When the food came out, the burger had their special sauce on it, which she could not eat. The waiter did right by us, and took the burger, and the drinks off our bill. When the manager came around to speak to us, he went ahead and comp'd the whole bill. I felt sorry for them, because I think they ended up comp'ing stuff at several tables. Due to how we were treated, and how the food tasted (my salmon, and the burger which I ended up eating, were both good), I would be willing to give it another shot. I would like to see what a normal evening there is like. Priced a little on the high end for my liking, and you have to order/pay for your sides separately, but it is a nice setting, and with better weather, would have a very nice patio.

Phenomenal atmosphere for Valentine's Date night - 10/10 recommend for special occasions! Service & staff were very personable and made the experience unique to each table. Ordered from the pre-selected four-course Valentine's For Two special, and every course was a treat for our tastebuds.

The menu was confusing. The waitperson was not totally aware of the rules and procedures. The room was much too loud, especially for music we could not hear well. The drinks menu was very confusing; a flight item made no sense as a single drink order. The food was very good.

Awesome food. Excellent selection of wine. Super friendly staff. The concept combines a European influence with Texas charm. They also have an excellent selection of gourmet foods in a retail section. They carry seafood conserves from Spain, extra virgin olive oil from all over the world and all sorts of craft salsas, jams, and sauces from Texas

We had a wonderful time. The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. We ordered three dishes and shared them. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend Dos Olivos. The wine was also very nice.!

The food was great. A band was playing and it was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation or even hear the waiter. I asked the waiter to ask the band to turn down the sound and there was no change. The manager came by and I asked again and again there was no change. I finally got up in the middle of a song and asked the band myself. They did reduce the sound level a little. They only have music every other Wednesday evening. I would never go there on a Wednesday again.

Nice vibe, reasonable wine, good food, just make sure to ask for food to be well done (salmon and burger were on the rare side). Service was lacking and price felt high for overall experience. But, it’s slim pickings around here so I’ll go back and give them another try!
