                                                                                                    The food was amazing, the service, and the restaurant itself was spectacular! We had so much fun exploring the restaurant after we ate. Definitely a must stop if you visit Las Cruces.

                                                                                                    a good surprise of the quality and taste of the prix fixe menu! all the entrees were cooked perfectly, duck was moist, lobster was rich and buttery, prime rib was a good sized portion... one nitpicky observation, the dinner rolls could have been heated up! but other than that, the price was decent for the offerings. the decorations were a great touch for the season and it was good to stop by for a new year's eve dinner before the later festivities!

                                                                                                    This is a great place to eat when visiting the quaint town of Mesilla. The food was good, not great. But the atmosphere was fabulous and worth a visit.

                                                                                                    I was very disappointed, we planned our trip around a special dinner there and it did not turn out well. My son‘s steak was completely raw when he ordered medium and they were so backed up. They didn’t have time to redo it and would not comp the steak. My steak was very marginal. The staff were rushed overall, and the hostess was irritable. Our waitress was very sweet. Just such a disappointment to pay that much for steaks that were aged and supposed to be excellent and they were very poor and we basically didn’t eat them and we ended up having a baked potato for Dinner For 100+ dollars kind of crazy.

                                                                                                    All the meat was cold, we made a reservation and nothing said it was a buffet. It was a birthday dinner and there was no acknowledgement of that. Very disappointed!

                                                                                                    We were a little disappointed in the scaled back menu (we assumed because of the holiday) and it took awhile to get our cocktails but the food was delicious, building and decor beautiful and server attentive.

                                                                                                    Service was slow, not a lot of other customers. I had great difficulty making online reservations Had to phone. Online info was confusing as to whether I was looking at the Double Eagle or the other restaurant. Waitress was pleasant, helpful. Food was mediocre, fajitas spicy though we were told they weren’t. Had sufficient meat, onions, but very few peppers. I had tempura fish, portion was small but sufficient. Fish was ok, a little dry and chewy. Crust was good. French fries good. Prices very reasonable. Place was clean, waitstaff clean, tidy.
