DSRT CLUB! Another creation brought to you by the owners of RD RNNR. In developing a sister restaurant to RD RNNR, we set out to create a social club atmosphere that drew inspiration from the lore of Desert nostalgia. In our journey through the development of the name and design, we came across a true desert classic in The Desert Club. This vintage establishment was built in the late 1930’s and was closed up in the late 1980’s. With the 1940’s and 1950’s marking the major success of The Desert Club, we then envisioned a restaurant that brought back the swanky essence of those years here in the Desert.

With the intent to restore some vintage ADULT dining to the “cove”, our hope is to establish a feeling of upscale classic that is reminiscent of “nostalgic” Desert vibes. We are focused on offering a great feel in ambiance, amazing food and exceptional service all wrapped in a tight bow.

We had a nice dinner with friends and we all enjoyed the food, ambiance and service. Our server was really exceptional and enhanced our experience.

Best Branzino in the valley! The drinks were not prepared the usual way but we enjoyed our evening anyway.

The Maine scallops and chef’s special pasta were amazing! The service was exceptional and the cocktails were insanely good!

Our server was outstanding ... helpful, friendly and made us feel so comfortable. Top notch all around. The chef came out and spoke with us, and he was terrific. Food was great.

DSRT Club is an awesome find in downtown La Quinta. Anouchka was our server. She was awesome. So detailed in describing the menu, very friendly and attentive. What a difference a server can make in your experience with a restaurant. The food was so delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back. The vibe is very cool.

All terrific except service was a little slow. was fine because it just gave us more time to catch up with our friends and enjoy our cocktails.

Full time residents and have been to DSRT Club multiple times. This was our first disappointing experience. I always look forward to The Lime in the Coconut cocktail but last night it was nothing like the crafted cocktail they normally make. Due to the massive amount of salt on the rim and lack of any flavor other than tequila, I actually wondered if I’d been given a margarita. The only reason I don’t believe I did was that the drink did have “some” of the milky white the cocktail I actually ordered. The Club Classic salad redeemed the cocktail. It’s an amazing salad with complex flavors. For an entree’ I ordered the Mr Robinson Meatloaf which turned out to be flavorless and seemed to be nothing more than a ground turkey patty wrapped in Phyllo dough. This was sitting on a brown gravy that tasted burnt in a bad way. My wife ordered the salmon special which was said to come with a beef chorizo chickpea puree’. The unseasoned salmon was indeed sitting on a puree that tasted of hummus only with no other flavors. Sadly the salad was the only thing we could say that was good last night. We’d hope that only the bar had a bad night with the cocktail mixing but then our entrees let us down.
