Established in 1983, Duner’s is a casual fine dining restaurant located five miles west of Charlottesville. The menu changes daily, crafted from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients under Relais & Châteaux Chef and Owner, Christian Kelly. Our extensive wine list, curated by General Manager & Sommelier Matthew Blaszak, ensures the perfect pairing for every dish.

•Bar Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

•Parties are limited to 6 guests on Friday & Saturday.

•We allow 1.5 hours for parties of two and 2 hours for groups of four or larger. For extended dining, please book a reservation for 7pm or later/

•The Porch is heated in winter, cooled in summer, and open-air during temperate months. Enjoyable for both small parties and groups of 6-12. Also suitable for private events of 25-40 people when available.

•Parties larger than 12 must reserve with the General Manager by contacting 434-293-8352 or dunersrestaurant@gmail.com

Duner's was great, as usual. I had sweetbreads (without the sweet sauce) and oysters. Both were delicious. Service from Kayla was great. And we had a great talk with Teddy (a server who has been there since the opening).

Duner's is always good. The dining room is pleasant; the food is excellent; the service is always good. The only problem, for a person like me who wears hearing aides, is that the dining room is very noisy. Not sure what can be done about that. Nevertheless, Duner's remains a favorite of mine.

Everything was delicious. I wish my parsnip puree had been hot but that's me nitpicking. My daughter really enjoyed her pasta dish as well. Service was prompt and polite. I will return!

We’ve had appetizers, crab cakes, steak and salmon at Duner’s. Food is always delicious. It’s quite pricey but to be expected at this type restaurant. We go there for special occasions. Be sure to get a reservation because it is a busy place typically.

Very nice restaurant, not very large, but cute. The food was outstanding, but the portions were on the smaller side. The alcohol prices to me, were quite high; averaging, approximately $20 per drink for a good quality bourbon. Our waitress was phenomenal!Ambience was very nice, but the noise level was pretty loud. All in all, I highly recommend and I will be returning.

As usual, the food was very good. I particularly want to comment on the oysters. I've noticed that sometimes they are overcooked--firm in the middle. Other times they are perfect, like last night. "Perfect" to me means that they are golden brown on the outside and juicy on the inside. From having cooked them myself, I know this can be a challenge to do. I learned last night that the chef at Duner's who always makes them perfectly is Cathy. So, I'd say...hope that Cathy is there if you're choosing the oysters.
