Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years.

We offer the full menu at tables in our dining room and at the chef's counter, as well as at our outdoor tables. Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible.

Dunsmoor's wine bar, accessible either through the restaurant or via its own door on Ave 35, does not accept reservations and serves a limited menu of our raw and larder items.

                                        Genuinely lovely time at Dunsmoor! Will absolutely go back for more drinks and southern hospitality. Food was delicious and full of flavor.

                                        Best meal I’ve had since returning from Italy! An absolute must try in LA. Top favorites were the Albacore starter and Ribeye (enough to feed 3 or 4, or a very hungry 2). Delicious! Will return ❤️

                                        We loved our meal. Both the catfish and pork chop were outstanding. We spent the entire ride home talking about the cornbread too! Would absolutely visit again!

                                        We are locals and this place is usually outstanding. We eat here regularly and rarely if ever leave disappointed. I cannot fault the food, incredible but this time our experience was not as enjoyable due to the service we received. There was a real coldness to the service this time, a lack of interest which left a bad taste in our mouth. We had brought a friend who had been anticipating this meal for a long time. Will definitely try again and hope for better
