Dwight's Bistro, located in Jacksonville, Florida, features a unique blend of dishes from across Europe. The restaurant has private party rooms available for 12 or 20 people. Dwight's Bistro features a wine list that is available by the glass or by the bottle. The starters on the menu offered at Dwight's Bistro includes a chef's cheese plate, pan cooked foie gras and escargot. Chopped salad, Caesar salad and palm salad are offered as well. Entres are served with a vegetable and ravioli and feature veal piccata, filet mignon and crab cakes. Handmade pasta choices consist of fettuccini carbonara, veal sausage spaghetti, ravioli of the day and angel hair puttanesca.

                                                    The quality of the food here is always dependable and top notch. Our server last night, Hannah, was a delight and made the evening even more special. Our “go to” for special occasions!

                                                    I think it must have been an off night- as soon as we sat down our server was rushing to get us out the door. We were one of the first seatings, but it is really awkward to sit down and immediately be asked for our order multiple times within 15 minutes. One of our guests actually asked our server to please let us read the menu and take our time. Once we placed our order, our server was nowhere to be found. When the food came out it was cold and when she put red pepper flakes on our entree, she spilled them into our waters. She dashed off before we could tell her. Our food was cold; my husband had the fettucine and mushrooms with steak- the steak was an extra 27.00 and it wasn't even a full 4 oz portion, and it was cold. My veal piccatta was chopped up and cold as well. To top everything off, when the server came back with our checks, she informed us we had to get up in 15 minutes. I get having a packed night with multiple turns, but that shouldn't impact service. We will be taking a break.

                                                    We’ve been there a few times and the food is always excellent! On this occasion the food and service was great but our experience was unpleasant due to our table . They are using a table located next to the waiter station and directly in front of the server work stations. This table is used for staff to work, fold napkins etc. it is not in the dining area, it was quite small a 1/2 sofa seat, very cramped and awkward for 3 grown adults one of whom is 6’2. Had I known I would have canceled our reservation. I can’t imagine anyone would enjoy sitting there unless you work there, very uncomfortable.

                                                    First time going after hearing amazing things about Dwight's for years. It did not disappoint. The service was awesome, and the food was very good. The crab cakes were the best I have had. Every restaurant says their crab cakes are the best and close to Maryland's, but I have had Maryland's and Dwight's was the closest for sure. Almost pure crab, very little filler if any. I will go back just for the Crab Cakes. My family had steaks, and I had the scallops. Everyone loved their Steaks and said it was much better than Ruth Chris' where we tend to go for celebrations. So, we will be back for sure. It is going to be our new celebration place. The coolest thing was that Dwight, is actually in the kitchen cooking everything. He opened it like 29 years ago. But it was nice just being in a small quaint restaurant that was still very service, and quality food focused instead of commercial and convenience. We will be back for sure.
