It’s a wonderful, quaint place and the food is great (although very expensive). The table next to us was very loud and one man of the four was cussing like a fisherman. Should have complained but didn’t want make a scene. It’s generally pretty loud and the acoustics didn’t help.

My wife and I live in Des Moines and we visit Dwight’s every time we visit family in PVB. The seafood is amazing here. The crab cakes are the best we’ve ever had! The sea bass is delicious, the scallops are delectable, and the bread that arrives shorty after you are seated should probably be illegal. Dwight’s has an excellent wine list with a depth of price points and varietals. There is something for every wine drinker. Finally, you really shouldn’t leave without a slice of the chocolate cake, or for something different, try the limoncello cheesecake. Let me put it this way, if you leave Dwight’s and you aren’t happy, that’s a you problem.

Great little spot! Harmony our waitress was fantastic. Food was good but my pasta dish could have had some more seasoning. Deserts were fantastic. Everything is fresh made. Will definitely return.

The quality of the food here is always dependable and top notch. Our server last night, Hannah, was a delight and made the evening even more special. Our “go to” for special occasions!

I think it must have been an off night- as soon as we sat down our server was rushing to get us out the door. We were one of the first seatings, but it is really awkward to sit down and immediately be asked for our order multiple times within 15 minutes. One of our guests actually asked our server to please let us read the menu and take our time. Once we placed our order, our server was nowhere to be found. When the food came out it was cold and when she put red pepper flakes on our entree, she spilled them into our waters. She dashed off before we could tell her. Our food was cold; my husband had the fettucine and mushrooms with steak- the steak was an extra 27.00 and it wasn't even a full 4 oz portion, and it was cold. My veal piccatta was chopped up and cold as well. To top everything off, when the server came back with our checks, she informed us we had to get up in 15 minutes. I get having a packed night with multiple turns, but that shouldn't impact service. We will be taking a break.
