Indulge in an unforgettable dining adventure at Earth, one of Maine's top restaurants. Nestled among balsam and birch trees, Earth embodies community, connecting exceptional cuisine with dedicated farmers and foragers.

Our farm-to-table menu celebrates locally-sourced ingredients, including meats, seafood, and vegetables from our organic gardens. Crafted by Chef Justin Owen, each dish boasts distinct, handcrafted flavors.

For intimate gatherings, reserve the Potting Shed for up to six guests or the Painting Shed for up to 12 (food & beverage minimum required, call to reserve).

Note: Table reservation durations: 2 hours for parties of two, 2.5 hours for parties of four or more. Walk-ins currently unavailable. Check for new openings regularly.

Another spectacular meal at Earth at Hidden Pond! Small plates, main course, and dessert were all out of this world and so beautifully presented- and the service, as usual, was beyond excellent. Cannot recommend this incredibly special restaurant highly enough- and even with all of the fine dining options we have far closer to home in NYC, we go out of our way to return to Earth again and again. And it never disappoints. Thank you to all of the staff at Earth for another memorable and delectable experience!!

The service was lovely and the setting is memorable. The salad was fine but not memorable. The seafood stew was tasty but cold. The chocolate cake was yummy but not unique. I’ve had much better meals for lower cost.

We have eaten at Earth since they opened. 99% of the time we have excellent meals. Last night, not so. The steak was way overcooked and served with two tiny asparagus as a vegetable. The pomegranate dessert was tasteless. And the Moreau Chablis, priced at $115 (sells at $30 retail @ Total Wine )was only a Bourgogne (lowest level of Chablis) and not marked as such on the wine list. I felt ripped off. PS--my wife's meal--lobster fettucine was very nice.

After reading many positive reviews about Earth at Hidden Pond, my boyfriend and I decided to go here for dinner while staying near the area. Even though almost all the reviews I read were positive, Earth managed to exceed my expectations! From the ambience to the service to the menu - you can tell detail was paid to every aspect. Admittedly I was worried about portion size but I can honestly say both of us walked out full. This restaurant is a wonderful choice if you’re interested in having a unique eating experience that focuses more on tasting over eating.
