Indulge in an unforgettable dining adventure at Earth, one of Maine's top restaurants. Nestled among balsam and birch trees, Earth embodies community, connecting exceptional cuisine with dedicated farmers and foragers.

Our farm-to-table menu celebrates locally-sourced ingredients, including meats, seafood, and vegetables from our organic gardens. Crafted by Chef Justin Owen, each dish boasts distinct, handcrafted flavors.

For intimate gatherings, reserve the Potting Shed for up to six guests or the Painting Shed for up to 12 (food & beverage minimum required, call to reserve).

Note: Table reservation durations: 2 hours for parties of two, 2.5 hours for parties of four or more. Walk-ins currently unavailable. Check for new openings regularly.

Earth was an unbelievable experience. It was romantic and rustic and you could actually have a conversation. It was our anniversary and then sent complementary glasses of champagne and then a delicious appetizer on top of what we ordered and then to top it off they wrote out Happy Anniversary on a board with some of their delicious donuts. One of those would have been nice but they really outdid themselves with all three. The food was delicious and well balanced in flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and responsive. Can’t wait to go again.

Amazing dining experience start to finish, so many options on the menu for this style of restaurant and everything we were served was better than expected. Great wine list as well. Courses were well spaced out - Charlie our server was exceptional, we hope to be back soon.

The food is always consistently great at Earth. The service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Highly recommend.

I have been to earth at hidden pond twice before and had great experiences. Unfortunately, this time around valet was not optional and had to insist while providing $20 for the valet driver Eric to leave our party alone. This changed the whole experience for me as I do not enjoy valet and most of my guests do not as well. I can respect that some people enjoy valet, but I find it an extreme inconvenience and do not appreciate being told I have to do something when paying $520 for dinner of 3 . I have to say the two other experiences were so good it led me to a third one as I felt the value was there, this experience was dismal as it was overshadowed with the entrance into the restaurant and me having to go outside while dining to help one of my guests. The positives were overall the food was good and our server could not have been more on point. One dish, the halibut, was oversalted on only 1 portion of the dish, so part of the dish was perfect and the other small part was over salted. Overall the experience left a lot to be desired and I would have preferred to dine elsewhere this past Friday night. Trying to look past this experience, but currently not recommending earth at hidden pond until a better service is provided as the ambiance and relaxing feeling I felt the first 2 times is what made it so special.
