Located in the heart of Carytown, East Coast Provisions offers an inventive approachable American Fusion menu specializing in shellfish, fresh fish, sushi and steak. East Coast Provisions has a big city feel with a sleek décor and multiple levels of exposed brick, 2 fireplaces, intimate rooms, multiple bars and one of Richmond’s best outdoor patios. We have convenient parking and accept reservations for parties of all sizes. We are currently serving in the dining room and on our patio. Due to weather the patio is first come, first served; we do our best to accommodate all requests but cannot guarantee specific table requests. We apply a 20% gratuity to all parties of 8 or more.

                                                                                                                                        Great atmosphere and great food! Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the calamari appetizer and mussels. Truffle fries so good. Can’t wait to return!

                                                                                                                                        My partner and I have dined here a couple times and every experience before has been great, however last night was disappointing. The pros: the hostess was very friendly and we were seated right away despite being early for our reservation, the food overall was good and drinks were delicious. The cons: we waited a while for every step of the meal. I understand it was a busy evening and a full restaurant but it seemed like we were an afterthought. We waited a while to be greeted and we placed a drink and app order. The calamari came out quickly and was very good but we finished it and waited another 10-15 minutes to order our entree. When the entrees arrived, the filet I ordered med rare was basically well done. Our food also kept being taken to the table next to us every course and they had to correct the runner. These things combined with the overall server neglect made us feel like an afterthought. I appreciate that the filet price was halved on the ticket but this experience has left a sour taste in our mouths.

                                                                                                                                        Staff was friendly and prompt, they went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. The rockfish and salmon entrees were perfectly cooked and the cocktails were phenomenal. The space was quiet and inviting, and never felt like we had to talk over the room ambience or other patrons. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I love whatever was served, the taste of shrimp, mushrooms, sweet potato, salmon and greens was so fresh. I will be back there for sure

                                                                                                                                        We had a group of old friends getting together and were happy to have a relatively quiet location. The tuna taco and calamari appetizers were exceptional. The poke salad was about a 4 on a scale of 10. There was barely any tuna on it and the rice was mushy. But I would go back for that calamari. It was truly amazing. Very lightly breaded. Some chili sauce on the side would have been nice but was not necessary.

                                                                                                                                        We enjoyed a very nice meal, the blackened Mahi was wonderful as was the tuna roll. While our waitress was pleasant, we sat for more than 15 minutes before any part of our order was taken. It took another 15 minutes to get our cocktails, they came close to the same time as our dinner was served. Way off with the timing. The table beside us, who arrived after we did, got their cocktails first. The noise level was loud, we were on the second floor. Having conversation wasn't easy. Our reservation was early, 5:30, so the dinner crowd had not even begun. This was annoying.....

                                                                                                                                        Wonderful restaurant that perfectly matched our mood and vibe after an afternoon strolling up and down Carytown. The service was spot on. The food was quite good. The noise level was a bit high but that was not necessarily a turn off in this situation. Searing was tight but it felt comfortable enough. I would love to come back again and explore more of the menu.
