   It is a beautiful place! Very open and light! The sever was great and I was impressed that he was familiar with the more “obscure” Italian wines. The one thing that was disappointing was my entree. I ordered the chicken Milanese and I believe it was overdone. It was quite dry and seemed overcooked. My friend loved her tagliatelle with Bolognese which looked awesome. I would definitely go back again, but would order something different.

   Not a place to go for a salad. I ordered the kale and brussel sprout salad with grilled chicken. The chicken portion was very dry and small. Shared the eggplant appetizer which was delicious.

   Pasta night -not. Family pasta dinner is a great idea, but Eatly (NJ) needs to work out the kinks. Execution was far from ideal. Especially with timing and consistency/quality of food. The manager acknowledged kitchen issues and made amends, so I won’t go into detail on things that urged us to leave after two hours - when the service still had 2 courses (and maybe a sweet) to go. Will I go to Eatly Short Hills again? Probably. For Pasta night? Probably not.

   Awful experience. The two pasta dishes were bland and tiny (one was served only lukewarm). It took a long time to track someone down to get pepper and grated cheese, to try to add any flavor onto the dish. By that time, it was totally cold. I specifically asked the waiter if these were entrees and he said yes. The dish I received was not enough for a small child. The rigatoni alla carbonara do asparagi did not come with crispy asparagus, as advertised on the menu, but rather with soggy, steamed asparagus. There were no eggs or black pepper either. Service was very slow. A member of the waitstaff removed our forks and knives after we ate our appetizers and then asked if we wanted "new utensils for the main course." Not sure how else we would eat our entrees-- with our hands? The fondue was the saddest thing we had ever seen- a few chopped strawberries and some dry biscuits to dip. All the portions were tiny. Huge waste of a night. Will not be returning.

   The $19 dollar special was a small serving.The pizza was not very enjoyable I had the one with arugula and prosciutto.Espressp and canola were good.Wines terribly overpriced

   Excellent service, delicious food - from appetizer to entree to dessert - a bit pricey, but what isn't these days?

   Unfortunately the food was horrible , the tables sitting next to us said the same thing. The ambience is nice and so are the people but unfortunately the food isn’t.

   We were a party of 5 with a reservation. We were seated at a small round table with a bench and one chair. It was a little tight and awkward seating. The pasta dishes were good. The fish and short rib dishes were just ok. Server was very good. Overall just ok. Would return but probably just stick w pasta or pizza.

   It's a good place to meet friends for a quick drink and decent grub specially on a Monday when most restaurants are closed. Food was healthy and quality but I was not too thrilled with the restaurant week selections. It did not have too many protein choices. Very carb heavy. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Ambience was casual and warm.

    Nice fresh and clean ingredients made for tasty presentation and delicious mains. The pizzas as appetizers were okay and would stick to the primary apps like meatballs that were yummy. Everyone enjoyed the food portion size is adequate and taste was good. Wasn’t over the top but a worthy choice in the area for groups or something different.
