Overall very nice experience. We enjoyed a delicious salad with kale and Brussels sprouts. The menu had a good array of items. Looking forward to going back for dinner next time.

My rating is not a reflection on the service received by our server but more of the management team and the unfortunate issue encountered with no redeemable resolution. Made reservations to partake in the March tasting special menu of $19.99. We arrived for our 1:45 reservation to be told by the hostess there was an issue in the kitchen and they could not cook hot food until 5pm. They offered us Pizza and Salad or come back another time.. that was it.. I explained we were not from area.. made the resy in advance for the menu tasting and why no notification of issue. We were on a time crunch and now had to stay. They offered no other accommodation for our troubles .. she brought the manager over-gentlemen with glasses.. he said nothing could be done (basically tough luck for us) but you can have some pizza or come back another time.. Super disappointed in the attitude received.

Seems every time I want to give this place a try something or another is not right. Last time it was a kitchen fire and they couldn't make food. This time something else happened and again they could not make food. How is someone supposed to trust a lunch place if over and over something happens where you are sitting there for lunch and after 50 minutes you have to ask the waiter yourself and they tell you "oh sorry we had an issue in the kitchen". And the response when we say now what is "you will get 10% off". They should be giving away free food at this point if they want someone to come back.

Third time dining at Eataly Short Hills and it was fantastic! It was my birthday and everything came out timely and delicious!

We had a wonderful lunch at Eataly at Short Hills today. Our waiter was polite and attentive. The pasta was great - the focaccia was life changing 👌🏼

Been there twice (always like to give a new place a second chance). Always out of something. Whether it’s wine, cocktail or an ingredient it has happened to us both times. We had 6 people and had (2) checks and they got that wrong too. We gave the manager honest feedback and he was thankful for our honesty. Wish them the best but we won’t be back.

It was a crowded noisy Saturday afternoon. The pizza was excellent however my order was wrong but the kitchen fixed it quickly. We watched our cocktails sit at the bar forever until we finally asked our server to please bring them. The service was slow. Our server was very busy- had 4 tables and his support staff could’ve been more helpful. It’s just your average mall restaurant
