Our service was excellent from Beginning to end. J our server was attentive and friendly and we got waited on promptly and served with perfect timing between courses. Delicious steak

Our dinner was great and the waiter was really wonderful - but I wish he would of tried to upsell us on side dishes. Just the piece of meat (albeit delightful) was just not enough to fill the belly.

We sat in a room that appeared to be a potential banquet room. One of the walls was stacked with extra chairs. There was a square table in the other corner full of takeout containers & water pitchers & such. The ambiance is an important part of this experience & the reason we’re willing to pay a premium to dine… & this restaurant missed the mark by a long shot. I ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. The salad was fresh & dressing tasty & plentiful. I had a 6oz filet that came with green beans & mashed potatoes. I ordered medium rare & the steak came rare, but I didn’t mind. The strings & stems were not trimmed off the green beans, leaving the dish unpolished. I finished my meal with carrot cake that was very good. My husband ordered a wedge salad that he enjoyed. For his main dish, he ordered the Prime Bourbon Ribeye & a loaded baked potato. Unfortunately, the ribeye came out extremely undercooked & was inedible. We were headed to a show, so we did not have time to wait to re-fire a new steak so he did not get to enjoy his main entree. The server did take the steak off the bill, but the entire experience was ruined so that seemed insufficient. Overall, there are other steakhouse options downtown, so I would not return to Eddie Merlot’s.

Great food and atmosphere, especially pretty looking out at city still decorated for Christmas. Enjoyed the grilled oysters, romaine salad, sea bass and surf n turf. Shout out to our server Erin for her attentiveness and pleasant demeanor. She even surprised us with a crème brule on her once she learned we were celebrating our anniversary. One note, the access to the restaurant right off the parking garage is very convenient and typically no need to valet. That said, EM no longer validates parking. Steelers playing in town tonight so wound up paying premium parking fee. Probably would have been better off had we used the valet. Oh well… will check next time if special events rates are posted.

Food was very good but waitress was not good at all. I realize it was New Years Eve but restaurant floor and rest rooms were not very clean. Time for some new carpet.
