Eddie V's Prime Seafood is a luxury dining destination known for the seafood flown in from pristine waters around the world, as well as its premium hand-carved steaks. I want to preface this by saying typically Eddie V’s delivers. But on this occasion not so much. 3 were sat at our reservation time and were given water shortly after. This is where it went wrong. After watching waitstaff running all around and helping tables on all sides of us we started to realize we weren’t going to get served. After 30 minutes of sitting there with water i decided to get up and actually find someone to serve us and first guy i found said it wasn’t him hat he would find out. 5 or so minutes go by and he comes back and says he isn’t supposed to be our server but wound take our drink order. Then the GM comes by and apologizes for the emdelay and said there was some confusion and mistakes made and assured us we would be taken special care of us from now on. We ordered our food and expensive wine and that was all good. Then the GM came over to fill wine glasses and asked the old fashion drinker if he would like another. Well 20 min later still no drink. Flagged down water boy which then went to find GM and i could see from across the room from his body language that he forgot. So it is what it is and I’m not looking for discounts or anything but after ordering a few desserts to go, you would think they would comp at least one of them. I think I’ll do capital grill from now on if i want to do a chain.

Fantastic meal every time. Steaks cooked perfectly. Many dishes with unique flavors. Never a bad meal. Service is exceptional. Went for a birthday and they provided a complimentary dessert which included some delicious cookies. Served brought us extra cookies to take home for our children. Looking forward to going back.

This is a premium steak and seafood restaurant owned by the Darden group who also owns the Capitol Grill. The positives are that the restaurant is beautiful, the staff is plentiful and service is very good. They also feature live music if that’s your groove. Downsides are the prices and the food which is just one notch off from what’s expected. I will give you 4 specific examples. The NY Strip which should be as big and as good as the Capitol Grill is not close. The scallops were plentiful, but something about the plate just looked unappetizing and off. They cheaped out on the accompaniments, so it just looked like a scallops plopped onto a plate. They seem to try too hard on the accompaniments. So there were no plain potato or vegetable options. Want a baked potato? Per the waitress my only choice is a $70 caviar covered baked potato. Lastly, their signature buttercake dessert which attempts to imitate Mastros signature buttercake just doesn’t come close. Be prepared to spend $150+ per person with tip and be prepared to be mildly disappointed afterwards.

Excellent service! This is our second year celebrating my daughter’s birthday here! Our server from last year even stopped by to say hello! We will definitely be back next year!

The food is delicious however too much butter is being used for cooking not really needed. The Chefs have to think of people with cholesterol problems and hypertension. Cook with some butter but you shouldn’t know that you’re eating butter in everything.
