Edesia is a Restaurant and Cocktail Bar & Lounge in the heart of Bath overlooking Guildhall and The Abbey that serves South American-inspired dishes, made with the best of British produce.

Monday to Friday lunch is where we serve our selection of ceviches, along with the best slow cooked meats, chargrilled chicken and much more.

Dinner at EDESIA is a celebratory affair with a menu of small and large dishes to share. From snacks to ceviches, land, sea and soil, the menu has something for everyone with a focus on bold flavours, citrus and smoke.

The bar at EDESIA serves expertly-made cocktails and is a great place for an after dinner drink or to sit and enjoy the evening over a bottle of wine and have a little dance if you fancy.

One of the worst meals I think we’ve ever had. Quite literally inedible. Had 3 tapas and ordered the lemon sole tacos (which were extremely dry), mac & cheese which was dripping in oil and looked like it was microwaved (not sure how you can get this so wrong) and pork empanadas again super dry. Had one bite of each and left it at that. My partner and his parents also said their meal was super dry and just felt microwaved. I wouldn’t recommend for food. The restaurant aesthetic is nice but definitely all style and no substance when it comes to the cuisine.

We had a fantastic meal in comfortable surroundings. The food was excellent and our waitress (Abi) was extremely helpful and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant and would eat here again.

The service was very attentive and the waiter took care with my daughter's nut allergy ensuring everything that was ordered was ok for her to eat. The food came quickly and was delicious. Lovely restaurant, friendly staff albeit a little noisy as there was a xmas dinner party 2 tables away but to be expected this time of year. Very busy and energetic atmosphere. Only negative would be the entrance door which is a single door and let in a blast of cold air every time a customer entered or left the restaurant. Our table was directly in line with the door and so we may have felt the cold more than others. However, this didn't stop us enjoying our meal and drinks and the service was excellent.

One of , if not the best dinners out we have had in a very long time ! 10/10. 3 friends had all of the veggie / soil tapas options to share and every single one of them was delicious, we then had mains of beef burger , chicken burger and cauliflower steak , honestly absolutely gorgeous. Busy (pretty much full ) restaurant for a Tuesday night says it all - thank you so much will deffo be back ! Xxx

Absolutely fabulous evening with amazing food and excellent wine choice. Serving staff were attentive and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Only downside was a group of 12 women who were celebrating on the table next to us and it was impossible to hold a conversation, just a shame we were so close to them.
