We've been to El Basque a dozen times. We always take visitors and they are impressed. Everything about it is special -- atmosphere, service, & food. Being able to share unique, small plates is fun and can keep costs down if that is important to you. Perhaps I should stop raving here as I may not be able to get into my favorite restaurant in season.

Second visit to this quaint wonderful restaurant. The quality of the food, the quantity, the impeccable service is outstanding. Nice wine list from the Basque region as well as Spain. The frog leg appetizer and the vin figs with cheese were very delicious. The two entrees we chose were the short rib beef bourguinon and the Txuleton Frittes ( filet butter basted with cheese sauce and fries with blistered tomatoes). We chose a bottle of Valtravieso La Atalanta, great pairing with our beef. The best part is you keep the cork, bring it back on your next visit and receive 15% discount on your next bottle. To top off the evening we ordered dessert and coffees. Don’t miss this terrific place. The executive chef knows what he doing.

The change from typical Naples dining we were looking for. Great food and service in a cool little spot. Authentic Spanish food, which is hard to find anywhere. Our server, Emerson, was knowledgeable, professional. We struck up a conversation with a couple at the next table who were equally impressed.

We are new to the area, and always on the search for a hidden gem like El Basque. I found online through Yelp, after reading multiple reviews about how this little restaurant is so special, we couldn't wait to try. We were not disappointed, El Basque is indeed, very special! The ambiance is charming, our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine, and the food was amazing food! We will return often for our date nights.

El Basque is one of our favorite restaurants in Southwest Florida. The excellent food, intriguing wine list, superb service, and charming ambiance keep us coming back. Last night we tried the whole suckling pig for the first time. It was delicious and quite an experience. Highly recommend the restaurant and the cochinillo (suckling pig)!

This is our second time at The Basque and it was truly amazing. All the appetizers our waiter, Mircea, recommended were perfect. We had the Vin Figs, Chorizo and cheese, and the Chef’s charcuterie. We were so full that we only ordered 2 entrees for 4 people. The waiter recommended the seafood paella and the filet mignon with frittes, both were excellent. Totally recommend this restaurant for the food, ambiance and service, you will not be disappointed. It’s our new favorite!!!!
