   We have always had great food at El Basque but last night was the best! I ordered the duck breast which was tender, juicy and delicious and had an amazing sauce along the side of the plate. We shared a grilled octopus appetizer which was not over cooked (a rarity) and my husband had the cassoulet which he described as scrumptious. Our waiter Emerson was attentive but not hovering. It was a fantastic meal

   Our favorite restaurant in the area. Food & Service are consistently GREAT! And the charming, intimate atmosphere is perfect for date night or dinner with friends, Luv it!

   What a wonderful evening. Emerson was great. The food the wine the ambience was amazing. Attention to detail. What a gem of a restaurant. Unique!

   A cozy space, nicely decorated with a pianist playing softly by the entrance. Tasty pintxos...try any one...they were fairly large servings. My husband said the french onion soup was the best he ever had! Our two friends and I had terri kazula (a mix of white beans, ham and sausage)...very tasty. Next time we return, I would like to try the casuela de marisco, it sounded so good. Nothing was overly spiced. The bartenter was also their sommelier and made good comments about the different Basque and Spanish wines they have. He poured several tastes for us to help us decide which we liked best.

   Your Chef is at your table & in the kitchen! Most unique restaurant in years! Delicious food, wines, fun for a group and equally a romantic dinner for two! We celebrated my mom’s 91st birthday here! My sister is a foodie & loved it! You don’t need to be a foodie to love this place! The servers are so attentive and knowledgeable that you want to know what they recommend!  Our server & the chef paired our Spanish white and red wine to our meals perfectly! Every dish was beautifully prepared 5 Stars for the seafood risotto & duck But the recommended appetizer special a Spanish potato tortilla with crispy Chorizo left us drooling for more! I hope it will be on the menu permanently! It’s a ‘10’! A unique experience that feels like home. I can’t wait to take my husband!

   A typical strip mall restaurant. Tables seated so close to door that when people come in they are standing at your table. Uncomfortable for sure. Food was OK.

    We really enjoy the wonderful food and service at this special place. Do not get concerned about the shopping center location. Once inside you feel like you entered into a Spanish home.
