   Went on Sunday for the bbq rodeo, restaurant was clean tidy and nice atmosphere, waiting staff were first class very friendly and helpful, food was outstanding cooked to perfection and lots of tasty sides and dipping sauces to enhance the quality meats on offer, will definitely be back

   Overall nice experience, however portion size for food was smaller than expected for the price. My friend ordered the tacos and was only given one rather than the 2 which was expected. After dinner, our table wasn't cleared, despite the table next to us being cleared (and they had ordered their meal after us too, sonthey were in and out whilst we were still waiting...) We ended up just walking up to the bar to pay as we couldn't get hold of any staff.

   We chose El Santo for two reasons, we hadn’t eaten South American for a while and we were staying in the hotel next door. We were not disappointed. We went for the ‘set’ menu, choosing three dishes from a list, served alongside three ‘starters’ and two sides. Dishes were delivered to the table as they were ready. Everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Salmon Ceviche and my wife loved the Guacamole prepared fresh at the table. Service was great with all the staff being friendly and welcoming. The wine list is modest but what we chose was perfect to complement the food. But it’s the list of Tequilas and Mezcals that is outstanding; so many names I’ve never heard of, but good descriptions to help make that all important decision! The place was quite quiet for a Thursday evening and noise was fine but I suspect when it’s full the sound level could be a problem. My only - minor - complaint would be the lighting; constantly flashing lights created a slightly disturbing vibe which I don’t think befits a restaurant of this standard.

   Went for the Rodizio BBQ grill and it was amazing. Service was brilliant as was the food, faultless.

    Went for a long overdue catch up with friends. On arrival our table wasn't quite ready but we were sat at the bar where we were served drinks and were able to chat. We shortly got our table and the waitress took us through the menu. She was knowledgeable and had a lovely nature. The food came when ready so it felt like we had an endless supply of food and it was extremely tasty and well presented. The waitress was continually topping up drinks or offering us more but it did not feel as though she was overbearing. The dancers who intermittently came round doing Latin dances were amazing and added an extra specialness to our evening. All in all it was an incredible night with good food and good company.
