This was one of the best and most memorable dinners I’ve had in a while. From the moment we walked in the staff went above and beyond. I’m on crutches and since our table wasn’t immediately available someone went and grabbed me a chair. Small gesture that makes a big difference. We were seated at the counter and it was quite a show. We loved seeing how the food was cooked on the wood burning oven and watching the way the chefs executed their individual roles was super cool. They were really busy but seemed happy to interact and answer questions. All of the food was spectacular. Never did I think I’d be calling out a bread service but it was incredible!! The steak and spaetzel were standouts, along with the tiramisu. It was a great experience start to finish. Great staff, amazing food, and a unique experience all around.

Eldr is one of those very rare and wonderful neighbourhood restaurants. The food is creative and delicious. The minute you walk through the door you are lifted up and inspired by the atmosphere and beauty. We live down the street and will be regular diners.

We've already made it to Eldr twice and been blown away by the creative menu (steak tartare with a little horseradish kick, a "BBQ plate" with a smoky sausage and spicy grits) and a simple but innovative cocktail list. Cheers to Eldr.

Great ambience and service. To be honest, menu price was more than what I would have valued the ingredients and prep at.

Kindly asked for a new drink when glass it was served in was chipped/cracked, server was super nice about it but then they just poured it into a new cup instead of remaking. Felt unsafe :/ Otherwise good meal and service! We like each dish a lot besides crab gnocchi was lacking flavor, thought it rude to ask for salt but ended up not even wanting to eat it after first bite. Surprising because it looked gorgeous. Highly recommend all veggies and bread service.

Dinner was exceptional. The oysters were so fresh. The vegetables were almost eclectic, certainly not typical/traditional. The steak was cooked just right. The sausage was spicy. We should have asked about it. Energetic sound translates to noisy. but that may reflect overlapping with happy hour.

Chef’s tasting menu was phenomenal and a great value! Drinks were delicious and the servers were very friendly. We will definitely be back!
