   It was good to get out! The cocktails were great, we did the chef's tasting and the wine pairing was also great. The food was... fine. The appetizers were pretty good (salmon A+), the mains very meh (pork overdone), and the dessert was just a pile of cubed apples with syrups and crumbs on top. Not at all the apple tart that we thought the menu described. The service comes with a 22% automatic charge, so the service is... inattentive. Not once did anybody ask if we liked anything, it was just "here you go, let me take that". And each of the plates required us to serve ourselves, and pour the wine ourselves! lol. 22%. The ambiance is nice EXCEPT when the kitchen staff is yelling "FIRE TABLE X DISH Y" quite loudly, for every dish, repeating the command several times and answering questions at that volume because the person next to them still didn't hear it.

   Love the food. I’m 2/3 visits having issues with how Smokey it is in the restaurant. I know, it’s a wood fired grill. I just don’t love spending that much money to smell like a bonfire and then have to take my clothes to the dry cleaner. Everything I wore stinks like fire/smoke.

   Amazing food, creatively weird and fantastic throughout. We especially enjoyed the grilled vegetables. Trout was exceptional, hamburger was super decadent (splitting one with somebody was a great call). Excellent drinks, good wine list, and our server was perfect.

   Excellent service, beautifully designed interior. The cocktails were top notch. We enjoyed every bite of our appetizers and main course dishes. Our server had excellent wine pairing suggestions. They were attentive and gave us space to have our conversations as she understood we were dear friends catching up after many months. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.    Beautiful restaurant, loved the ambiance. We did the chef’s choice menu. The first and second courses were amazing. The dessert left much to be desired, the apples tasted almost spoiled which was very disappointing. Overall the chef’s choice menu was okay, probably wouldn’t do it again, the bill was insane compared to service (think Canlis price bill but without the fancy ambiance). Our first waiter was amazing, very attentive, but whoever replaced him towards the end of the meal was not as great, she was very hasty with us and looked annoyed. Overall, the restaurant is very cute, the cocktails were great, but skip the chef’s choice menu.

   It was intended to be a special birthday dinner for my best friend. We ordered and then waited at our table almost two hours later still no food.!! All tables around us had been served and were having desert or had left. We finally asked for our check. They comped us our drinks and we left. The restaurant gave no explanation as to what had happened. I think our server forgot to place our order. Obviously dissatisfied and embarrassed. I was hoping to show my friend a fun evening for her birthday.

   Great spot for a quiet evening and especially if you enjoy a good show of how a kitchen operates. As the crew cooks right in front of you at the bar. Great ambiance and the staff was so nice. However, the food was a bit charred, salmon served skin side up, and proportions to dollar wasn’t that great. Not saying it was bad. But it’ll be a while before I return.

   Great experience but smaller portion sizes. I do think the food is a bit on the pricier high end side.  the dip with the table bread was really good. But some of the pieces of bread were super burnt and not really edible. I understand that the goal is to give the food a nice char, but some parts were definitely burnt. We tried the black cod, which was really delicious. The bitter salad was a little bit too bitter for me. I do wish they had more meat selections. Overall, a 7/10 experience

    We got the chef’s menu and loved the variety, creativity and yumminess of everything served. We also loved our server who was attentive, fun, and generous. The hostess was so lovely and welcoming and helpful. It was a fantastic date night!
