Elephant & Castle is located on the ground floor of The Mayson Hotel. It’s interiors pay homage to the original warehouse with exposed brickwork and timber ceilings, floor to ceiling crittall windows and bespoke wall lights. A beautiful large island bar is the centrepiece of this space, with specially commissioned hand-crafted stitched leather panels. It is a local gathering place for family and friends, neighbours, concert goers and colleagues. With an innovative menu that brings together old world flavours and contemporary international cuisines. Each and every plate is packed with fresh, honest, tasty food, created with the very best Irish produce. Try our world famous chicken wings or one of our juicy homemade burgers and much more.                                                         Lovely staff. Burgers was nicer not sure what the elephant burger gimmick was as it looked like the normal cheeseburger. Was tasty nonetheless. Great service. Thank you!

                                                        The food was not great - I had the fish and chips - my fish was all batter - no fish and when I raised it with the waiter - it was acknowledged but no action taken or offer to take it off the bill. The food here has slipped for sure and the standards are not what they used to be.

                                                        Nice spot for before concert in Three Arena. Had chicken wings to share with chips. Yum. Not that spicy which is good before bopping at concert. Others had burgers. Looked yum.

                                                        I’ve been before & really liked it however the food this time was extremely disappointing.The wings were completely dry and not fresh, we waited over 30 minutes for food (it was a concert night so was to be expected) service was fine/slow as they were very busy Overall would not recommend or return

                                                        Ordered fish & chips, got a hard dry battered fish, and leftover chips. Ordered 7hp which was taken from me as soon as I ordered coffee even though I had more left in the glass. The bill was given, I paid cash and the change, while only almost €5, was not returned. This was not an error, as the cash was handled and I remained drinking coffee for another 30 minutes. It was presumptuous of the waiter to expect a tip. The least he could have done would be to return change and take a tip later. This carry on irked me. Disappointed. Coffee was lovely.

                                                        Have been here a good few times, love the restaurant and the food. A bit disappointed with the service today, the waiter was more interested in other tables. We had to ask several times for more water, and we were asked at the end if we were leaving a tip. I found that to be very rude!

                                                        Ordered chicken wings and fish and chips. The wings were dry and hard. Chips were poor quality and stuck together. Fish was ok but not worth the price. Service was super and we were offered two free drinks for the dodgey wings. Nice setting but food left a lot to be desired. Will be back for a drink but will eat elsewhere
