Elephant & Castle is located on the ground floor of The Mayson Hotel. It’s interiors pay homage to the original warehouse with exposed brickwork and timber ceilings, floor to ceiling crittall windows and bespoke wall lights. A beautiful large island bar is the centrepiece of this space, with specially commissioned hand-crafted stitched leather panels. It is a local gathering place for family and friends, neighbours, concert goers and colleagues. With an innovative menu that brings together old world flavours and contemporary international cuisines. Each and every plate is packed with fresh, honest, tasty food, created with the very best Irish produce. Try our world famous chicken wings or one of our juicy homemade burgers and much more. Guests can also enjoy a drink or a nibble on the outdoor original truss roofed courtyard with three-storey living wall.

                                                        Good quality has fallen off a cliff. The famous wings were meagre, expensive and more sinew than meat. Even the chips weee bad. Tiny portion and all of them broken. Staff ignored us all night. Eventually someone asked if we wanted another drink… yes, I did want one a half hour ago when I finished my first…

                                                        Haven't been to an Elephant & Castle in ages and it was great to be reminded exactly how good the offering is. Pity they don't still do omelettes, though.

                                                        Lovely dinner last night before attending a concert. It was also a celebration for my mother’s 70th birthday. We had a lovely night. I had requested a candle for dessert for my mother and the staff brought it out and sang to her. Overall fantastic evening. Thank you.
