Buona accoglienza e splendida location. La pasta é buona anche per un italiano! Ottimi i cocktail provati. Accogliente e coinvolgente l’atmosfera.

The food was yummy and it was a cute restaurant that I’d love to return to had it not been for the very unfriendly and unhelpful service. We came without a reservation and the place was almost empty. They turned us away. We then asked to be placed on the waitlist, which they did but with a bad attitude. Then they told us the wait would be a few hours even though the place was almost empty. I then went on Open table and saw many openings available so I booked our table on Open Table instead. We then went to check in with the same lady and she was not happy that we got a reservation online. She was very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome. Then she said, we need to wait another 15 minutes before she can seat us even though most tables were available and ready. It seemed that she simply wanted to be as difficult as she could be. Very poor service. The rest of our lunch experience was pleasant. We enjoyed the food. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, although they brought us dirty wine glasses with red wine residue still in them. I’d say this place is fun with a good vibe, but you won’t get quality service here and we won’t be returning due to the poor service.

I have been dining at Élephante for a very long time, it used to be my go to place, when my family would come from Mexico that was the place I used to take them to but last night they disappointed me. My reservation was at 10:15pm I got seated past 11:00pm. I received the worst service I could of possibly gotten from the waiter, ever since he took our food and drink order I never saw him again, he never checked up on us so I asked someone else for the check since I had already finish eating and my drinks never arrived till I had already asked for the check and for to go boxes. But the drinks at the bar were being served instantly, it doesn’t make sense that someone makes a reservation doesn’t get drinks till they already finished eating but the people at the bar get them instantly. The waiter came grabbed the plates boxed some of the food for me (I am saying some because he never brought me a box for a whole pizza that I didn’t even touch because I was so bothered my appetite went away and I just wanted to leave). The waiter back to bring the food in to go containers and he just threw it on the floor. That’s not how you treat your customers when I was nothing but nice and polite to him, unfortunately I won’t be returning to Elephante.

The place is beautiful but the outdoor terrace is super noisy. The cactus room is better if you don’t want to hear people screaming. Service is slow, dishes don’t come out in order and they take forever to serve the drinks.

Always enjoy the food and service here. It was a bit cold today and asked to be moved and they accommodated with no issues. Both the tuna tartar and branzino were delicious, my husband had pasta and dessert and loved it too.

I requested on my reservation a special attention to my wife since we were celebrating her birthday. I reminded them as soon as I arrived and they acknowledged, then I reminded the waitress and acknowledged, but in the end they never brought anything. Food was amazing, just that detail is what makes me not provide the 5 stars.

Excellent service & fresh pasta! Celebrated a bday w desserts & espressos - can’t beat the view - one of our favorites in LA! Highest Compliments to our server Jazz - he’s the best!
