Elk Ave Prime is located in the heart of downtown Crested Butte on Elk Avenue. We feature hand carved Prime and Wagyu steaks, Colorado lamb, Elk, Buffalo, fresh Seafood, farm to restaurant garden salads and more.

We feature many beers on tap, most of which are Colorado born, as well as the largest wine selection in the valley. You can enjoy any of our drinks from our outdoor patio or cozy up next to our fireplace, great after a long day of skiing.

Elk Ave Prime is one of the largest venues in Crested Butte, ideal for large parties or wedding receptions.

    The food was excellent. The prices however have gotten very high so be prepared especially if you want a nice bottle of wine.

    Matt is an excellent waiter and a gentleman. He helped us celebrate our son's birthday and was a pleasure. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff is helpful and professional. The restaurant feels homey as always. Best of show in Crested Butte, hands down.

    We sat at the bar and service from Molly and Tina was superb. Tried the apple cranberry crostini dessert and it was yummy. As always, the steak, sides and French Onion soup were perfect.

    Outstanding food and service! Don’t miss the French Onion Soup. Great steaks and seafood. They have a very good, but pricey, wine list. Highly recommend

    Food is always terrific. Greg and John at the bar were awesome and wine recommendation made by Kathy was sensational.

    Always a favorite. New side items were amazing! Sad there was no more chocolate martinis. Enjoyed the other drinks and service. Will be back.

    Our server was great! The food & Service were on point! West Coast oysters were a treat, being from Texas we don’t get to have those very often.. I highly recommend the Buffalo Ribeye!
