Elk Ave Prime is located in the heart of downtown Crested Butte on Elk Avenue. We feature hand carved Prime and Wagyu steaks, Colorado lamb, Elk, Buffalo, fresh Seafood, farm to restaurant garden salads and more.

We feature many beers on tap, most of which are Colorado born, as well as the largest wine selection in the valley. You can enjoy any of our drinks from our outdoor patio or cozy up next to our fireplace, great after a long day of skiing.

Elk Ave Prime is one of the largest venues in Crested Butte, ideal for large parties or wedding receptions.

Best wine selection in the area and when we were there, one of the bartenders won a local mixed drink competition. Food was delicious. Service from Molly and Greg was outstanding.

Usually have an exception meal, but did not have one this visit. They were out of ribeyes, so I got a veal chop that was average. My friend had a $125 chop and he said it was just average. The service was decent but when the side (creamed spinach) is the best thing on the table all night, its a bit disappointing. The wine list is always overpriced and they were out of my top two picks. This visit just whiffed.

Great meal as always! Service is spot on! We come here every year for our annual ski trip on Super Bowl weekend and Elk Prime NEVER disappoints! See you next year!!!

This was our second time visiting Elk Ave Prime and we went in with very high expectations given our first visit - and they did not disappoint. The staff was so friendly, the food was amazing, and our engagement celebration was made so special by this restaurant. 10/10 if you're going to Crested Butte (and love good food), this is a must!!

Severely overpriced menu. We ordered a French Onion soup and a Caesar Salad. Both arrived promptly with polite staff. The French onion soup was fairly small for $15, but the Caesar salad was a laughable four pieces off of a baby romaine pieces off of the small head of lettuce. We walked out after paying for our disappointing sides. Nice staff, unfortunate business model.

Kallie, We are sincerely sorry that our menu and its prices didn't meet you expectations. Sounds like you were able to enjoy the service, but that wasn't enough to make up for the other areas of your experience. I couldn't tell if you got a chance to try more than the soup and salad. I hope you will give us another chance and try some of our amazing prime cuts! Either way, we appreciate the feedback.

Nice steak house, but way too expensive. USD for an ounce of pepper sauce, topping on a 8 ounce steak!!! Ridiculous. Either include toppings in the price of the steak, or at a small nominal cost.
