Located at the luxurious HALL Arts Hotel in the Dallas Arts District, the award-winning Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge is inspired by dining traditions that harmoniously balance an art-filled, modern aesthetic with great food and genuine hospitality at every table.

A business chic dress code is recommended for evening service to ensure an upscale guest experience. We respectfully ask that gentlemen wear shirts with sleeves and long pants.

Join us for Happy Hour from 4-6pm Monday through Friday for 50% off featured wines, beer, and highball cocktails, and enjoy featured shareables.

Enjoy live music every Thursday from 5-8pm, Friday from 6-10pm for Duos or 7-11pm for solos, and Saturday night from 6:30-10pm for an elegant, artful dining experience. Jazz Brunch is every Sunday from 11am-2pm

Sidney was wonderful and made a night! Food was great and a wonderful atmosphere prior to a show at the Majestic. Easily walkable too

We've been to Ellie's a few times over the years, but this visit was really lovely. The holiday decor is fabulous as ever, and the Jazz trio playing was really special. The service was great today, too. The menu seems to have been given a refresh since we've last visited, and we enjoyed our brunch options.

We've been to Ellie's several times and always enjoyed the hospitality and food, Unfortunately last night was a busy night and despite that we had reservations, we were seated 35 minutes after we arrived and only after we pressed to get a table. Food was very good as always, but unfortunately we had to eat very quickly in order to make a showtime.

Very nice setting and decor. Prices were as expected, on the high side, but portions were smaller than I expected. Service started out fine but lagged after the main course was served. We barely made it to the show with five minutes to spare. All in all, we will give it another visit.

The service was poor. We waited for 20 minutes before a waiter arrived. After that, it took another 10 minutes to get water. It took even longer for the food and other drinks to arrive. There was a nice atmosphere and nice music. However, everything else was a disaster.

Staff is always unwnergetic and seem put off by your arrival. Always long wait time for drinks and waiter attentiveness.

We had a great experience here, wonderful wait staff and great ambience. We came all the way from Seattle and were pleasantly surprised with this find.
