Located at the luxurious HALL Arts Hotel in the Dallas Arts District, the award-winning Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge is inspired by dining traditions that harmoniously balance an art-filled, modern aesthetic with great food and genuine hospitality at every table.

A business chic dress code is recommended for evening service to ensure an upscale guest experience. We respectfully ask that gentlemen wear shirts with sleeves and long pants.

Join us for Happy Hour from 4-6pm Monday through Friday for 50% off featured wines, beer, and highball cocktails, and enjoy featured shareables.

Enjoy live music every Thursday from 5-8pm, Friday from 6-10pm for Duos or 7-11pm for solos, and Saturday night from 6:30-10pm for an elegant, artful dining experience. Jazz Brunch is every Sunday from 11am-2pm

Went here with work colleagues after a conference. Service was slow, food was excellent. Nice menu selections and wine pairings Great place to eat if you’re not in a hurry. And make sure they give you the happy hour price because our server needed to be reminded.

Everything was perfect. The food and service were great. The coffee was delicious and our cups were filled as needed. We enjoyed the jazz music.

Lovely restaurant in the arts district. Our server Chelsea was excellent. The ambiance was wonderful. There was live music. The food was excellent. We especially loved the focaccia bread. Both entrees were nicely seasoned and beautifully plated. One of us had the miso salmon and one had the Creole redfish. Both were delicious.

Our group of 5 ordered variety of appetizers, they are all delicious, well presented. Main dishes are great. The special fall drink offered to us is very refreshing. Overall a great night

Nice setting and food was well presented. Really enjoyed Chelsea’s enthusiastic service. Worth checking out the neighboring sculpture garden.

What a fun hidden gem! My husband and I do regular date-night every Friday and are always looking for new places to explore. Ellie did not disappoint. The space is beautiful, the food is delicious and the service was impeccable. I didn't realize this was a hotel bar/restaurant when we booked the reservation, but we even talked about a stay-cation because the hotel was so appealing. Our server, Chelsea, was very attentive and knowledgable about the menu and made great recommendations. We enjoy the NY Strip and pork chop with crispy potatoes on the side after starting with the featured flatbread, which was mushroom, prosciutto and a pesto sauce. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The tobacco onions that topped the steak were a special treat! We went at 6:30pm on a Friday night with a reservation I booked around 3pm the same day, so it's a great choice for last-minute elegance without feeling too stuffy. There was a piano performer to keep things lively, but the restaurant wasn't crowded and conversation was easy to hear. Highly recommend!

I had about 52 minutes to eat during the 1 hour intermission/dinner break from the Dallas Symphony. I sat at the bar and ordered a drink, food, and wine. After about 20 minutes my food hadn’t arrived (but others who arrived after I did were well into their meals), I was about to pay my tab and leave. I was assured my food was on its way but I think the order had been lost. So they must have put another order in and it arrived about 4:44, so I had about 10 minutes. I ate and paid quickly, but of course no time left to order dessert as I planned. The food was good once it arrived though!
