Welcome to Ellie's Tap & Vine... Join us for seasonal cuisine, elegant ranch ambiance and great wine! We are Valley to Table dining, working with many local farms and purveyors; We look forward to seeing you soon! Our menu changes regularly, so please feel free to visit our website: www.elliestapandvine.com or follow us on IG and/or FB.

Our restaurant is located in the heart of Santa Ynez. We boast amazing outdoor seating with great views and because it is often a little chilly in the evening, we have heaters. We are also dog and cat friendly.

We know re-adjusting to dining out is a strange experience for everyone and we are all slowly returning. For now, we will be suspending lunch service.

The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a wonderful dining experience. A special shoutout to Joy, the owner, who truly takes pride in her establishment. Her passion is evident in every detail, from the thoughtfully curated menu to the welcoming ambiance. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere, Ellie's Tap and Vine is a must-visit!

                                    We loved our dinner at Ellie’s Tap and Vine! From the service, to the food, to the ambiance, everything was just perfect! My tenderloin of beef just meted in my mouth and was cooked to perfection! My daughter’s half chicken was succulent and delicious! Our tomato soup starter was the best tomato soup we’ve ever had the the desert list was to die for! I would most definitely return to Ellie’s and highly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy!

                                    This little restaurant was located right across from our hotel. It’s a beautiful little area just outside of sulvang. Great little getaway and the food and drinks were perfect

                                    This little place was such a find. The food was so fresh and flavorful, the service was good despite a very busy night, and the vibe was fun and welcoming. I highly recommend it. Don't be put off from the outside. Walk yourself into a place that feels like you just discovered a hidden gem... which you have.

                                    Every time we’ve dined here it has been wonderful! However today we had a wait person who was absent for most of our meal. But as usual the regular people we’ve seen are super wonderful. This was a new person we hadn’t seen before. But he was incredibly inattentive. And Joy is always lovely! The food was delicious.

                                    I was always taught if you have nothing good to say then don’t say it. However, my wife convinced me to write a review. The best thing about this experience was we were seated promptly compared to others behind us. After nearly a 45min wait the wine we ordered was actually very good for the $. Everything thereafter was comical. We dinned on Valentine Day. Ellie’s was not ready and or prepared for what most anticipate to be the busiest day of the year. Service was so slow and lethargic at best. The chicken my wife ordered was tasteless and dry. The warm apple salad we ordered never arrived and the pork chop was grossly over cooked, bland and mostly bone. Etc…

                                    Greg: Thank you for your honest review. We definitely had a few challenges beyond our control last evening. Your experience wasn't indicative to who we are or what we normally deliver and we apologize. I only wish you would have asked to speak with someone because we could have changed this for you. We do hope you will give us another try, next time you visit but we also respect the fact that you may not. We hope the rest of your weekend promises you more happiness.
