The corn ribs are tasty! The rest of the meal just felt like it was lacking some taste and oomph. After ordering a couple of entrees/small plates, we were asked if we wanted dessert as the kitchen was closing at 830pm for hot food. Not exactly great for a lovely meal out! We felt very rushed. Our waiter asked the chef nicely and we did get a small plate of eggplant sent out. One of the two desserts they had was off, leaving a pannacotta that wasn’t really creamy of sweet enough. So basically we had a small plate of sashimi kingfish split between us for main course that was delicious but tiny. Certainly not memorable food at all. Service was ok, one waitress in particular with a plait and dark hair was good fun and lovely! Lovely location and great view but I feel this place isn’t living up to its potential and could improve on many fronts. Cocktails were delicious and I do recommend the tiki cocktail with smoked mango! Would go back if the food improves, otherwise it’s fairly expensive for underwhelming food.

Had a special birthday celebration there and the service was impeccable. Great attention to detail and very accommodating. Food is excellent as always - generous servings with the corn ribs and tacos!

Stunning setting looking out at eastern end of Jamison valley. Relaxed atmosphere and good service, a small but distinctive and high-quality menu with an excellent wine list.

Nathan and the team as always were amazing. Great service great knowledge and enthusiasm. Always have an awesome time at Elysian.

We moved to the mountains from the city and our fear was we’d find no where to drink and dine. Boy were we pleasantly surprised!! The cocktails, ambience, and food were excellent. The only complaint (a minor one and not a fair one given we’re not in Kings Cross anymore) was the closing time. We would’ve loved to mill around the bar until midnight to keep enjoying the awesome drinks and friendly / professional service. We’ve got a new favourite up here :)

Elysian have expanded their bar and now have a restaurant room attached. Service was a bit patchy, table of 5 all orders taken verbally, 2 dishes forgotten, requiring nudging twice. Food overall very good, wine list aok quality but expensive by the glass $18 minimum.

A warm welcome from the Host John, and service team. Everyone enjoyed the dishes, with a perfect selection of sharing plates. Drinks were a compliment to the meal. Worth a second visit.

Absolutely fantastic! Fabulous taste sensation, each dish complimented others on menu, really hard to choose a favourite but the sashimi was a stand out. Ambience gorgeous, really loved the styling and music, staff so welcoming & friendly. Cocktails superb!!! Will definitely visit again and again!
