Born from a passion for authentic, honest cuisine, Embankment Kitchen embarked on a journey to really feed people. Rooted in the warm spirit of Northern hospitality, this is a neighbourhood kitchen where you can eat, drink, unwind, and truly feel at home. We believe in the power of good, solid, recognisable dishes and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each dish is crafted with precision and a touch of refined elegance and always prepared from scratch, in-house. If it isn’t already obvious, we love what do, and we work hard to curate a menu of classics that have the power to make you want to order everything. Our laid-back space invited diners to share moments and create memories over plates of food designed to hit the spot, and celebrate the extraordinary found in the ordinary, one plate at a time.

Couldn't fault the food or drinks. Quick service, very friendly staff. Would have liked more options on the small plates/starters, but this was the lunch menu. Dinner menu probably would have been better. Food was really nice and service was excellent. Was leaving a tip but seen a service charge on the bill. Would rather this be optional, but guessing it's common practise now. Overall very satisfied.

Overall we enjoyed our experience. Service,staff very friendly and helpful. Had to return 1 meal due to it being cold, which they did take off or bill. An other meal (Caesar Salad) arrived in a hot bowl & next to no baby tomatoes. With the cold dish, being send back and a new one made, everyone else had finished their meals.

We had an absolutely fabulous time, all the staff were so attentive and went out of their way to make our trip extra special for our anniversary. Wonderful food, cocktails, and experience!

Booked to eat here prior to a show at the arena, The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was explained to us about the pre-show menu and the standard menu, but we had plenty of time and the place was not too busy so we opted for the standard menu. We had a couple of requests of how we wanted our meals to arrrive with some small plates with starters and some with the mains and nothing was too much trouble for our waiter to arrange. The food was excellent and the staff were super helpful, very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend eating here thanks for a very enjoyable experience.

Booked as a pre dinner show for Peter Kaye at the AI arena we had booked this menu as this was supposed to come out quicker than the normal menu . Ordered drinks around 10 minutes after being seated which was very tightly compact tables and sat waiting for drinks over an hour. We then only received half our drinks order . 2 glasses of Prosecco were pre ordered at point of booking online and had to show waiter from my phone as I wasn’t believed ….. on asking numerous times of where our order was we were just told we are low on staff . The waiter who was serving our table was inexplicably rude and there was no apology for the delay . Upon asking for condiments after receiving the food order I was greeted with a slamming of the condiments on our table ! . The manager did eventually come over to our table and apologise for the waiting and the service we had received and offered some drinks complimentary off the bill however by then we were already totally disappointed of the level of service we had received and shocked of the staff behaviour. I work in the retail industry and I cannot believe that this measure of service was allowed, I can’t imagine treating our customers in the way we had been on this occasion. Definitely upset the start to our night I will not be visiting this restaurant again and would suggest that the staff to be re-trained in customer relation skills and manners..

Lovely restaurant. Overall food and service good but chef was having a few problems on the day so some of service was slow. They did however rectify the problems to our satisfaction without the need for a complaint. We would go back again. Cocktails were amazing and reasonably priced. Happy hour 4-7pm

Food was delicious - we got the Surf & Turf from the sharers menu. Highly reccomend!!
